Thankful they made it back to the airport safely!!!😮😮😮🙏🙏🙏
Not really.
God bless that crew for getting them back safely
Remember when the “max” crashed TWICE before Boeing admitted it had dangerous software that it had not thought worth training pilots to manage? All to save money.
if you look it up again, the max crashed a third time… after that, the whole fleet was grounded.
What A Blessing Everyone Has Survived 😮
I’m sure there were a lot of self absorbed idiots on board so not quite the blessing you’re implying.
Depressurization isn't as bad as it seems to be. Planes are designed to handle failures like these.
@@firefly4907 It depends. Turkish 981 and American 96 are good examples of this.
@@viperabyss both of them blew out at high altitudes but it is a miracle Alaska survived (idk if it happened mid-flight or shortly after takeoff?)
@@ROBLOXGamingDavid Actually no. Both blew at around FL110, which would be within 10~15 minutes of taking off. Alaska also seem to be roughly the same time (although for very different reason, and different aircraft type).
While American 96 was able to return to airport safely, Turkish 981 was considered one of the worst aviation disasters in history, with 346 dead.
I would’ve interested to see interviews if people sitting near where the panel came off

Whenever u fly make sure your plane is an airbus
I think they need to put those Max planes in early retirement.
Eas that a failure in maintenance or mechanical failure? What about a design flaw? He didn’t mention that …
FAA needs to step up before the next disaster strikes 😢
They have. All 737 Max 9s in the US have been grounded pending inspections and, of course, the investigation into what happened.
Brand new 737 max 9 delivered this past October (October 31st)
Its always Boeing & I’m so surprised they don’t get the heat they should be facing
Agreed, for too long, Boeing’s QA has been sorely lacking. Hopefully, with the FAA asserting more control over aircraft certification, it’ll get better.
@@shepardbook I’ve seen such drastic aviation incidents that Boeing should be ban frankly..
@@dopeygang6719 To borrow from Sherlock Holmes, it is hazardous to theorize in advance of the facts. Let’s wait for an interim report from the NTSB. So naturally I type this just as the NTSB is streaming a briefing.
@@shepardbook more loose parts were found in Boeing united & Alaska airlines
@@dopeygang6719 Yes. And my first reply did mention how poor I felt Boeing’s QA has been.
Thank God everyone made back safely .!!
A 3 month old plane? How many corners did they cut to get this delivered on whatever timeline they had?
Never forget Alaskan Flight 261
Yeah, 5 friends of mine died on that flight
how long ago was that? I don’t remember it….
@@susanfanning9480 I am so sorry. Alaska Air management committed murder
What blew out was the plug to cover the extra hole in the left rear of the 737 Max 9 for another door. The Max 9 can be configured for long haul flights by removing some seats and installing another rear door for extra food carts to move on to the plane faster; on shorter flights you have more seats and less food to carry.
I live in a flight path of PDX and I've been wondering why I haven't seen any commercial jets for several weeks, but I did see an Alaskan flight coming in yesterday.
That's the emergency door. Not a "Hole".
If the door is missing, it’s a hole.
@@claireconoverI love the semantics, lol.
It's a Plug. The door wasn't required, If the airlines Config. is less than 200 pass.
Thank goodness they made it safe!
❤🎉❤🎉❤
737 MAX again ?
Thank you for sharing.😊
I would have had to have a valium. That's really, really scary.
Why are they calling a missing door to a hole ?
Because the aircraft was only configured for about 180 passengers. No need for the extra emergency exit, so therefore an inner and an outer panel was mounted in the space. I guess they’re lucky the panel appears to have popped out cleanly without further damage to the cabin.
great view outside the plane!! whew....glad everyone is safe!!
Me personally I would have just lifted the plane to our destination, better yet I would have just flown to my destination.
same.
Atleast no one got hurt
That's crazy 😮
On the bright side, these passengers didn't suffer the fate of the two fatal Boeing MAX crashes in Indonesia (2018) and Ethiopia (2019).
Seems like Boeing keeps grounding their planes because people die. Perhaps they might reevaluate their craftsmanship.
👍👋👋👋for Alaska Airlines for safe landing ❤
The Gremlins .
OMG‼️😳
Oh hell no.
This is why I book airbus flights and not boeing. Something is going on with their 737 MAX program.
You are lying. You don't which gonna fly when you book your tickets
Let's be honest, aviation experts aren't too surprised with yet another MAX safety problem!
Only a matter of time before the next incident 😢
Scary but it also reminds us that planes are pretty sturdy, can keep going even with seemingly catastrophic damage. Just keep your seat belts on and stay calm. That said, holy crap.
Man I would of passed out
OMG
Aloha Airlines Flight 243 was much more dramatic, but this story highlights the importance of safety. If you think being safe is expensive, then just consider the cost of an accident.
Is that the one where the plane basically became a convertible?
@@thebluemorpho6640 yes
Of course, the difference being the Aloha Airlines 737 was a nearly 20 year old aircraft that went through 35,000 flight hours, 90,000 flight cycles (fyi - a flight cycle is a take off and a landing) until that last one. And, if you check out the video into what happened…look up Air Crash Investigations or Air Disasters or Mayday. You’ll find it and that was a freak occurrence.
@@shepardbook you're trying to complicate things with facts & statistics.
@@misterfunnybones Just offering contrast.
Nice view of the city though....
What’s up with Boeing?
There was a plane years ago that had windshields fasted from the outside, and a supervisor finished the replacement job, with screws too small for the holes by just a little. They guy had bad eyesight. A pilot was sucked halfway out, feet were caught on levers, and crew held onto him, but he took a high-altitude-beating, against the plane, but lived to tell about it.
British Airways Flight 5390
what went wrong? it’s a boeing 737 max.
that plane is plagued…
It looks like it was an emergency exit door 🙁
It's an Emergency Door exit, not a hole in the Fuselage , obviously the door wasest properly secured before flight.
Get it right before open your mouths, hype, always hype...
Airbus 🇪🇺🇪🇺👍
Stay off all planes !!!!
Do they charge extra for that lovely view?
I think it could be plane is to much pressure cause is may be theory why door feel off could be to much pressure
Never getting on a 737 MAX.
They have been having issues for years.
Something rushed in the ✈️ and something rushed out the plane 👽
😮
Did passengers get a refund?
I would have got up a d looked out it like a window
Has this missing exit door and missing internal fuselage panels and window etc, actually been found somewhere under this Boeing 737-9 Max passenger aircraft short take-off and climbing flight path?
As this missing exit door and missing internal fuselage panels plus a window too, must have come down somewhere?
There are some who are saying even one unoccupied passenger seat blow out too, which appears to be missing too, so this passenger seat must have landed or impacted on the ground somewhere or has hit something too?
Maybe a house or other kind of building, or has impacted in some field or woodland, or on some roadway or country track etc?
Or is it possible this missing exit door and missing internal fuselage panels and window plus maybe one passenger seat that is said to be missing too.
With all this being blow out of the Boeing 737-9 Max fuselage, for whatever reason?
They still has come down somewhere, maybe even in water, either a river, or lake, or stream and/or pond etc, that is somewhere under this Boeing 737-9 Max passenger aircraft flight path?
Is there even a search on the ground being carried out for this missing exit door, or the missing internal fuselage panels and window, plus maybe for one passenger seat that is said to be missing too?

Air plane trouble on
If it’s Boeing I ain’t going
Boeing 737 Max 9 has flaw. Yes I am an aeronautical Engineer and plane can never pass stress test.
Journalism is so sloppy. There are so many reports like this one about this event that make it seem like the cabin pressure dropping was the issue and that it caused a "hole" in the plane when it is clearly obvious that a door failed causing depressurization or resulting from it. And the demand to be dramatic and swim in hyperbole is so insulting. Now if it can be shown that an actual decompression occurred that caused the door to blow out than say so or feel free to speculate but only if you stop talking about a hole and actually realize a door failed. Did it fail and the plane depressurized? Or did depressurization cause the door to blow out? Either way isn't the presence of airframe failure the real emergency here rather than it being the depressurization?
I'm never sitting by the emergency doors, again. 😱
The emergency door should be a rather safe spot to sit. If, on the other hand, you find yourself sitting next to a panel where an emergency door could go but hasn’t been fitted. Then, I wouldn’t argue with you for wanting to be reseated.
737 Max killed hundreds in 2 fatal crashes 4 years ago. Now this on another 737 Max which could easily have gone tragic.
The FIA needs to get to the core.
Lol why not put 737 max in the title that plane is fk up obviously
Is Boeing an American company or a Chinese company? Why the quality is so bad?
Oh look another Boeing max. I would like to meet the engineering designer and VP Operations. I really would.
Does anyone know what altitude they were at and I would think that's DEFINITELY a mechanical problem structural
Another reason to take Amtrak.
The back of my train derailed off a bridge. Believe it or not planes are still the safest means of transport. The odds of surviving a burning plane with one functioning engine for example is still safer than a burning car with a failed engine.
