What a beautiful video. Your selection of music was perfect. The tension of the strings, the percussion indicating time and hard work, with the hint of a choir.
    Very nice!

Very well done, the views and the music, thank you. Astounding how the diggers work in the heat and gases. Certainly someone has pondered building parallel rows of dijks?

Once again some excellent video of the lava flow. I was having trouble picturing where this was happening from the webcams. Your video cleared that up.
I thought that was one area safe from lava going over the top.

Continued excellent footage of the effects of the lava, thank you. 1:53 What were the excavators trying to do? Build more berms, uncover the highway? It must be incredibly hot working in the lava fields with big equipment. Thanks again.

It's burning moss there due to the lava that came over the wall and they are preventing the fire from spreading out, once the moss catches fire, it's troubles

This large lava flow came from the remaining cone? It must have really had a big output to create that huge lava flow. I just can't wrap my head around it. Thanks, Gylfi. Always appreciate your videos.

Thank you for showing us what is going on there. It's quite frightening really and the height of that lava with some of it on fire too....I am happy that I am not there! We people look so small next to that wall of lava. I think the workers are very brave to be working alone side that hot lava.

Thanks so much for sharing your imagery, and may God bless the people of Iceland in their ongoing battle against Mother Earth's unbelievable power.

Its creepy to see the places where we walked just some weeks ago covered under 10m of lava. We did go around the mountain along the wall to get a peek at the erupting vulkano in late april.

I just watched this for the 2nd time. Gylfi, you’ve created a masterpiece of art. So emotionally powerful. For those of us who have been following Shawn Willsey’s coverage, you needed no narration to explain what you show in the video. It’s just a perfect combination of video and music and truth-telling. Takk fyrir, from Minnesota, US, where many Icelandic heritage communities still exist from immigration times.
