    I love your style Brendon, you are fearless working on these modern bikes. You and Shadower75 have encouraged me to work on my Husqvarna 701 an now 901. Being a 64 year old Luddite I was scared to muck things up but thanks to you guys; efi, abs, valve adjustments, and electronics isn't that scary anymore.

    Good on you Brendon, I'm not a T7 rider at present but this was an interesting view and it's great to see you branching out with this quality kit for the many T7 riders in our community. Best of luck with it (the high fender looks so much better than stock btw) and safe travels.

    Well sorted fender kit sir. If l had a t7 l would have been ordered one now. The instruction video could not be better 👍🏻
    That orange/blue colour scheme look nice (Netherland colou😃) and the blue suits it perfect.

    Excellent stuff sir, i knew you could get it sorted and with all aussie parts too , brilliant. Kinda weird hearing it called a fender instead of a mudguard but I noticed mxstore doesn't call it a mudguard either...we all understand though even when you call your handlebars a steering wheel hahaha. Good install video and a great price for such an upgrade i think. Very slick ,wish i had T7.
    Congrats and cheers 4 sharing sir.

    Nice one Brendon.
    I have the Camel kit on my Tenere 700 now, but I can see the advantages of your configuration of the lines back to the ABSM rather than to the distribution block as with the Camel.
    I used the Acerbis white MOTO fender on mine as it seemed to match the lines on the bike better.
    Plus your addition of the new line from the master cylinder down to the ABSM is a nice touch.
    IMO I think the option of coloured lines could be a good idea as I would have gone the blue option if it was offered in your case.

      Hey, Im not going to provide the rear lines at the moment. There is 4 separate hoses to replace and it is a big job for me to pull them all out and measure them. 4 hoses will be in the order of $300+. Maybe if I ever make a profit on the front (im several thousand out of pocket at the moment) I can look at the rear.

    • @1paulcave
      @1paulcave 2 года назад

      @@Nerb1 makes perfect sense - $300 for the rear cant justify that anyway. The rear brake works well enough (with better pads).

    Though I certainly understand the needed functionality of a high fender I dislike the way they can make the front end 'nervous' at high speeds. Especially for lighter bikes. Wish there was some engineering magic so you could raise the fender a couple of inches and not mess up the fork travel.

    Guess I showed up too late for the party. Really not totally satisfied with the other high fender kits out there, with the Altrider kit being my favorite option at the moment. Any chance you could provide your brake line specs for reference to order some lines from HEL?

    • @Nerb1
      @Nerb1  Год назад

      I actually have 1 kit left if youre interested? Otherwise, yes, I'll contact HEL and tell them to sell my lines. Up until now they were telling people to bugger off, which I really appreciated. They were very supportive of my endeavor.

      @@Nerb1 How much shipped to the US (85554)? To be honest, I was looking to do my own kit and like different elements of different kits that I would like to put the best bits into. The best part about your kit is that you use somewhat standard brake lines (to you specifications of course). The Altrider kit uses a non-standard line that is expensive to replace and has a SuMo fender that I believe is fairly ineffective in the mud, otherwise I like the kit.

    Could you put a braided line in for the back brake mate

    • @Nerb1
      @Nerb1  2 года назад +1

      I can. I didnt think I needed one as I dont mind a squishy rear pedal on the adventure bike. But I can add it to the kit. Hold off buying one and I'll contact HEL and add it as an option to the kit.

    Why don't you just tap into the abs line on the front of the radiator it's a hard line anyway

    • @Nerb1
      @Nerb1  2 года назад

      Because I have two brake lines going to the double banjo. There is no easy option to connect two lines to the one hardline (a T-peice maybe). Also that would add another connection. I think the less connections the better.
