Just bought a T700. Love what I see here and will be adding some lighting for sure. Someone asked about a build list, would be awesome to see a parts / vendor list.
It would be great if there were installation video instructions. I have the T7 rigged with the D7. the Plug-&-Play DialDim Wiring Adapter doesn’t work at all. And the lights have a parasitic draw that drains the battery dead every 4th day. The lights are very bright though and the dial a dim is great if you ride both day time and night.
We are working on adding video install instructions to our product pages in the future. In the meantime, reach out to our customer service team and they can help you get on the road: denalielectronics.com/pages/contact-us
I like those flush mount rear turn signals but that would last about 30 seconds on a trail bike before they are completely covered in mud/dirt being mounted there. They would be almost useless without constant wipe downs. Rest looks great.
Hi Nate, A quick question about Denali lights, On my 2016 BMW GSA I am running a set up that consists of 2 x D4’s, 4x DM’s & a B6 rear light, Obviously a bit of wiring to install & run through the bike, My question is would it not be possible to make the cables plug into the lights rather than a sealed unit, that way if we have any problems with the actual light unit itself we would not have to remove the Bodywork & Gas tank to swap out one failed or broken light……Regards Marc
The CANsmart controller comes with two sets of 5.5-foot light extensions that do exactly what you suggest. The extensions run from the CS to the light location, behind your plastics or under your tank, and the light has an 18" led that plugs in to the extension. This way if you ever want to change it up, it's simple and you don't have to tear apart the bike.
This bike was built as a commuter and beach cruiser to get to and from work and to get to the beach for an early morning surf session. Not a lot of drops from the owner on the way to the shop and dropping on sand typically doesn't hurt lights. If you were taking this bike on hardcore off-road adventures, you would want to bring the lights a little closer to the body.
Can you folks speak to how you wired the rear turn signals? The t3 pods seem to splice into an existing rear signals light, but if you remove the existing light is there a harness you sell to allow the t3 pods to connect without splicing?
Just randomly stumbled on this video then realized I'm one state over. Is there a showroom I can pop in and checkout or is it all web based? Awesome signals. Would love to price this for my bike!
There is not a showroom but depending on who is around, we could show you around the shop. Send us an email at inquiries@denalielectronics.com and we will be in touch.
Hi Nate, your tenere looks beautiful. Can you tell me which model of akrapovic did you put. I can't find and I want the seim. Thanks and congratulations for your job!
Hi Nate, Are you happy to tell me how you connected the T3’s rear please? I’ve decided to go for the T3’s M8’s front and rear, as I’ve a tool box mounted on my rear pannier rack and if I fit a T3’s under the seat , I think it want be much visible at the left hand side. I’m also waiting for Stephan to send me a prototype of the ezCAN for the T7, to connect the D4’s, B6, Split sound bomb etc. Kind regards Dragomir Erev
The rear flush mount T3s are mounted with the included flush mount hardware. If you are installing the M8 version, you can likely get away with using a spacer adapter in the stock signal location or replace the rear "splash guard/license plate holder" with a TailTidy.
@@DENALIElectronics I’m planning to use a spacer adapter and I’ve the Yamaha tail tidy fitted too, where I need to use a spacer adapter too. Thanks Dragomir
The owner hasn't published a ton of info online about his bike and doesn't have a RUclips Channel. The bike was sold in December and is on it's way to the new owner. I will try to track down some build details from the owner.
Super nice! Any chance you can list all the accessories on the bike? Specifically the tires, top rack, skid plate and crash bars. Also where can I order the exact graphics kit on this bike? What are the colors used? Thank you!
That is a GIVI product. The most similar current product is this one: twistedthrottle.com/shop/body-and-fairing/windshields-accessories/windshield-extensions/s180t-universal-deflector-clear/
Does anyone know if the Denali soundbomb mini will fit on a Tenere 700 in the stock location with Outback Motortek crash bars installed? The clearance looks tight.
We have not tested the Mini with that particular set of bars, but our SoundBomb Original Horn Mount shouldn't interfere at all: denalielectronics.com/products/horn-mount-yamaha-tenere-700-21-21
Nice Lighting Arrangement.... I Like the turn signal set up........ Question... IS there a lighting option that allows your lights to flash continually with maybe a custom Flash sequence??? Also , Given there seems to be a problem with iPhone Cameras and Vibration is your Phone cradle dampened to prevent such Damage to these cameras??? Great presentation.
The patented design utilizes a rubber ball and socket that greatly reduces the amount vibration that can be transmitted into electronics. RAM® Mounts are not guaranteed to alleviate known vibration issues with Apple iPhone cameras. Exposure to vibrations, like those generated by high-powered motorcycle engines, might impact iPhone cameras. Although anecdotal, we have not received any reports of camera damage from this mount.
For the owner of the bike, this setup is perfect. He isn't a hardcore off-roader, but for getting to the beach with a surfboard this works great. Each light could be tucked inboard of the crash bars for a more "off-road" friendly orientation.
That license plate "mod" looks ridiculous, and will cut your leg wide open if it so happens that you crash and parts of your body end up back there, which happens from time to time. Phone mounts, etc, a far cry from a modified motorcycle. It looks loaded up with brackets and stands and crash bars, and actually looks a little dangerous in a crash, as bikes do hit riders from time to time, other than that, it looks pretty fancy, nice bike, but not sure what type of bike it has become. A night rider?, that you can crash and hit things with.....just not sure anymore.
Appreciate your feedback! This is a mostly sport-touring bike that we used to test and show off our products and take to trade shows. It has seen mostly city riding and adventures to surf at the beach. The protection parts protect vital components in the event of a spill. If adding crash bars, skid plates, and centerstands makes a bike less capable, I guess we like less capable bikes 🤷♂️
You say this the meanest tenere and I think that's ridiculous considering you haven't done anything for the performance it's all just flashy lighting and stuff I wouldn't call it the meanest but maybe the flashiest
Your lighting solutions are very clever, impressive stuff Denali!
Thanks for the kind words!
That is some wicked kit! Very clean and well thought out.

Mint set up
Im feeling very inadequate now... I only ordered the D2s, harness, and switch.
You've got that T7 dialed in!

Hi, can you tell me what brand is the front fender please, it's awesome
Polisport SM Line Fender mounted on the Camel ADV high fender kit.
@@DENALIElectronics thank you very much
Looks great. Awesome designs and functionality guys. That horn certainly isn't the sound bomb!
Good ear! It is not the soundbomb. We should probably install one on this bike eventually!
Love from DeKalb Mississippi USA 🇺🇸
Appreciate it!
We love this build!
We are glad. This is definitely a shop-favorite!
Can you design a ninja sword holster attached to right rear side?
I like those flush mount rear turn signals but that would last about 30 seconds on a trail bike before they are completely covered in mud/dirt being mounted there. They would be almost useless without constant wipe downs. Rest looks great.
The bike's owner uses his bike for commutes and sport touring, not a lot of mud. The rear flush mounts are perfect for his riding style!
Hello, what is the brand and model of that high front mudguard? Great build by the way!

Thanks...I think!
Awesome setup 😎
Is there anyway you can put together a list of all products shown and what you need to copy this build.... I love it! I need it all! Tenere 700
We are working on getting this now-many requests for a build list on this one!
Könnt ihr mir bitte sagen, von wem der Motorschutz ist ?
Der sieht richtig gut aus.
Danke

can I buy the decails anywhere? looks really nice!
Is that a decal kit which is for same? I need these stickers! Just perfekt!!
Unfortunately, these were custom graphics cut for this bike.
Well but it seems once you lay on the ground your lamps are gone and maybe cause some damage to the plastic parts too right? Did you tested this?

As of now, we do not have a plug and play harness for T3s on a Tenere 700. The signals are simply tapped into the rear turn signal using posi-taps.

The exhaust is an off-the-shelf slip that was welded with a custom mid-pipe.
Where are you based?
I am surprised the soundbomb isn’t promoted in this video… the lighting sure looks good though

do you have a steering dampener for the T7
We do not, we design and manufacture lighting and accessory management for motorcycles and powersports applications.
Where can i find that black slip on exhaust! Looks sick! How's the sound?
It's a bit custom, but sounds great! It is a generic eBay can with a custom-fabbed midpipe. The sound is great and not too loud or raspy.

Are the light addons DOT approved?
The D3 Driving Lights are DOT/ECE approved. The D2 is not.
Looking good 👍
You wouldn’t sell the stickers too by any chance ?
That is a custom vinyl print job, not one we are going to sell right now.
Looks like a bad ass build, but those upper lights are a little vulnerable, and the lower ambers will get smashed in the first two hours.

Looks great! Is there also anything you guys do in terms of extra fuel capacity?
We do not sell any fuel tanks for the Tenere 700.
Acerbis makes a larger tank

Nice, good to see you around these parts! Congrats on your new ride!
