I clicked onto the comments to say the exact same thing, lol. That is the clearest HD security camera I've seen, and it's an outside camera that deals with elements like dust. Super high quality or it was brand new and installed mins before lol
I know that's what drove me crazy in the video the whole entire time I was screaming at my phone get out of there get out of there and they just keep sitting there I'm like are you insane?! If I see a boat coming towards me that's easily a hundred times bigger than the boat I'm on I'm getting out of there immediately. It's like people in our society always assume that the other person is competent....NO! Always assume the other person is incompetent even if it is a massive ship.
Are you serious? I graduated from US Navy Surface Warfare Officer CSshool 30 years ago, and they taught us red and green were same everywhere. (I ended up being a Seabee officer, mostly on land, so I never knew) But what you say is news to me.
@@web5271 ok just looked it up. It's still the same way its always been. Red right returning in the US but opposite in most of the rest of the world. We used to say RED RIGHT RETURNING home. RED RIGHT REAVING where they drive on the wrong side of the roads.
mechanical problems....or electronics problem....no depth finder??? And why don't these Captains just drop anchors when experience a problem controlling these huge ships....???
They did drop anchor, both of them. You can see the starboard anchor go at the 38 second mark and you can see the port is down when the stern swings to port.
Sometimes the engine just stop, that's a main issue, sometimes can be a blackout, accidentally somebody turned off the wheel and the rudder instead to turn off the winches, both controls can be find at the wheel room deep inside the engine room.
I was more impressed with the quality of the cctv

"Mind if we fish along side you guys?"
It has not run aground, that was the best handbrake turn ever!
I told you my damn line was hung on something!
love the fisherman giving no fucks, not interrupting my cast for this amateur hour
Back yard security cam. In case enemy commandos come ashore. lol
Honey, I’m home! Just brought a few friends with me.
"Red, right, returning." That's all you have to remember to avoid mistakes like this.
Pretty sure that only works if you have steering.
That ship is going fast - half the ship's length in 10 seconds. Ship is "Swan Biscay", 130 metres; so I think 14 mph.
Funny shit the fisherman didn't skip a beat till the wake got a little heavy at end lmao.
If I was in that little boat I'd shit my pants!
The captain of the ship “oh shit, oh shit, oh shit!” Lol
Evidently the Captain did not take into consideration the Low Tide.
He was just horsing around. Showing off.
Poor buoy.
Tokyo drift song in my head
I was in the mn and we would use this as a way to turn the ship known as a beach turn
It's going to be hard to get that off there.
Hey mom, dads home and he is drunk again
Thank God if that ship doesn't oil inside there!
The guys fishing dont really get it !

Intentional grounding?
It looks that way doesn't it, I wonder if he was unable to shut off the engines or something, but definitely look intentional to me anyway🤷🏻♂️
Wanted to reclaim his fishing spot 😆
Then the bassboat runs aground
Towing skiers.
Gotta keep it BETWEEN the bouys . Red right returning is American. Reverse that everywhere else. He didnt know the rule apparently.

textbook shortround maneuver.
The green marker bouy is gone...
Yes, I was wondering if the Coast Guard sent him a bill for destroying the green marker!
Rip buoy
Don't you have when someone esp a bigger boat comes over to jones your spot. Musta heard you on the raydeeah bragging about your catch.
Definitely text their mate. 😅
😮When you have land staring you right in the face and still don’t know what to do 😂
must got loose because dosent look like no one on it
vivitar45 ...you see the anchors drop in the beginning of the video
I never can understand why this so appealing to sailors. It damages the ship. Where's the positive side?
@@fishtug2420 Then they should stop doing it.
What’s appealing? Grounding the vessel?
Ok. Going in to be scrapped. Or to prevent sinking. Or a prank.
