I've been thinking aboug getting onr of these for a while myself but the orice of the replacement sand paper is quite ridiculous. Do you know of any alternatives?
Hi my friend, No alternative I’ve seen,so I will just be making replacements sandpaper tips with double sided tape and the grade of paper I need at the time
@@Johnbuildsiconic I ended up buying a Proxxon PS13 Pen sander and a Micromot 60 E rotary tool! I'm pretty pleased with them both. Nice slow speed control with the NG 5/E mains adaptor.
Often seen these tools but never thought of buying one. Time for a second look I think. 👍
You won’t be disappointed my friend
if i wanted to use my own power supply is there any indication which is the + and - on the plug?
Please like and leave a comment thank you
👍glad your pleased with it john.
It’s well worth the money Steve
Looks good but having to buy the psu separate is a bit off putting. Maybe the old electric toothbrush converted to a sander trick is an alternative.
I agree with you, the separate power supply needed put me off getting the pen sander for a few years

@@Johnbuildsiconic I wonder if using some glue stick instead of double sided tape would allow it to peel off easier but still hold it?🤔
Yes I would say so
The Proxxon certainly looks like it has more power than the USB rechargable mini pen sanders!
Ye it’s got some decent power for the size of the pen sander

Yes Edward with a low grit sandpaper and the lowest speed on the power pack
