Big thanks to www.motovationusa.com/ for being our premiere parts sponsor for the Streetfighter V4S! They've got everything you need for your Ducati, Aprilia, BMW, or other fancy euro bike. Can't wait to get our our SC Project Exhaust!
Whenever you remove the brake caliper mounting bolts you need to re-center the calipers when reinstalling, leave the mounting bolts semi loose, and with the wheel off the ground spin the front wheel and apply the front brake to re-center the caliper/pad orientation with the rotor, keep the brake applied while tightening up the mounting bolts to torque spec.
To anyone reading this that doesn't know any better, don't do that. That is one of the dumb motorcycle myths that makes no sense but continues to exist anyways. The calipers don't move, they bolt to the forks. Doing weird installing rituals like that just make it difficult for no reason, or worse cause something to actually get torqued down in a bind or something weird and actually cause a problem.
As a TRUE Ducatista, I'm above Duca-bike... It's all about Rizoma and CNC... You need more pointless carbon fiber now.... and the brake guard was critical for my V4 SP, makes me feel safer when I commute to the bank to talk about dog water credit score.
Gixxer-bro energy (no torque figures bruh, just wing it) while working on a Ducati...I'm not sure how to feel about that, but I'm sure the results will break the matrix.
I’m absolutely doing these mods to my duc. The only reason for the spacers is to cleanly remove the reflector. I love customizing my diavel and streetfighter with carbon bits and duckabike stuff.
As one of the resident Ducatistas in your discord, no, I absolutely do not put this garbage on my bikes. Ducati's are perfect. They should not be adulterated.
yes evotech rizoma and other companies like that just sell you or drop shipped ali parts or just in general low quality shit parts that look good on pictures and still everyone loves them and pays 10x their worth for them..
Yam really did the most Ducatista thing and modified everything that didn’t need to be modified. Respect for reinforcing the stereotype. As a purist it hurts
Oh hell no, my monster is Golden beige and brown. I received a few angry looks of disapproval 2 weeks ago when I drove down to Sud Tirol. Keep that boring red away from me, but give me all the rest!
Ducati does make some beautiful hyper naked bikes. But think my 22 R1 and looking at getting an MT-09SP would nicely balance out. If my wife doesn't kill me an R7 for the track.
Yammie! I got an extra single sided swing arm rear stand from R&G. Got it for my speed triple, but ended up not using it since i got a pitbull stand instead. Interested in it?
this video is sacrilege😢 removing the brembo brake levers for some cheap ali express low quality shit levers (yes i know they are from "evo-tech" but they are straight up dropshipped ali levers with a logo on it). same goes for a lot of other small mods on the bike but they dont matter as much cause it isnt changing any vital parts that have to be strong etc...
It would be nice if the red actually matched the red on the bike, don’t like having not matching reds, looks like it wasn’t made for that bike and you bought universal parts of Amazon.
So the bike has 10k miles? Does that mean you have 10k miles? If you have 10k miles that involved a fair amount of reasonably hard riding and some parking lot practice etc. i.e. You were putting actual effort into improving your skills and not just popping down to the bank or cruising the strip. Then yeah, you can ride a V2 no problem if that is what you want to do. I rode a 300 for my first bike and after 10k miles I could easily hop on, say, my brothers zx1200r, one friends street triple, or another's' RSV4 and rail them around the hills with total confidence. I suppose one must factor in one's own knowledge of how often/much you would be using that power. If you are a self admitted adrenaline junky who pushes it, you might chose to restrain yourself at the hardware level and go for the lower power bike. (Which might be the smart move for such a person.)
I know you gotta promote vendor stuff you get for free but can you at least plan this out and not bolt on every piece of blingy, useless shit that gets sent in a box?
Is the Yamaha Tracer 7 a good beginner bike? I don't want to get a car so I want to commute on a bike, the Tracer 7 seems like a really good bike for that purpose while still being fun enough for the weekends.
Sit on one. It's probably not too much power or too much weight - but unless you are tall enough, the higher seat height could be an issue. A low enough seat to flat foot is very nice for learning. Not that you can't learn on tip toes, but the chances of a parking lot speed tip-over go up. Come to a stop with a bit of lean on... and plop.

Glad to see yall modding that Italian beauty!!!
The tail tidy and the mirrors are the only two things that need to be done, to make it not ugly.
Donut is starting to do a motorcycle build series. It would be awesome if there was a collab between the two channels.
YES
Bro I even commented they should collab
Fr tho!!
I stand by this💪
Yes
I'd love to! We've reached out many times, we never hear back lol

Thanks for the tip. Assuming it applies to all motorcycle brakes?
Brad i see where ur coming from but who told u this
bad advice.but what do you expect when you come to the Yammienoob channel.

best part of the whole video is that awesome wall in the background
20 min later in that Texas sun and every one of those red parts will be a lovely pink color.
Gixxer-bro energy (no torque figures bruh, just wing it) while working on a Ducati...I'm not sure how to feel about that, but I'm sure the results will break the matrix.
4:55 I had a rear axle slider unscrew itself out while riding, so I would recommend Loctite and torque to 5-10 Nm.
Take Spite's advice and do bar end mirrors too. Get rid of those gnarly stalks.
Clear clutch cover should be next if you reaaly want it to be a ducasquid bike!
My SFV4S brake lever guard has saved me when I skimmed a car while filtering
Goes to pick up Ducati parts wearing a Triump shirt. Legend.
Now you get to take the bar ends back off to put the grips on lol. Love the content, beautiful bike. Just keep the Sharts minimum 5 feet away. ;)

Factory fresh.

There are stretched Groms available for the clowns group.
I ordered an SC Project exhaust from Motovation like two weeks ago for my KTM 890 Duke R
Cool to see Motovation being featured!
Should have showed removing plungers from levers. Everybody forgets to show that step
Yamm you preach to us not to change the OEM brake and clutch levers....than what you do... you change them 😄😄
All the red anodized parts I've ever added to a moto or mtb have always faded from the AZ sun and ended up looking pink.
All you need on that Bike is a Tail Tidy, Sliders, Motogadget Bar End Mirrors, and the Akrapovic Ducati Exhaust with the Race Evo Tune
I didn't think it was possible to make that bike look cheap... but yammie did it!
If I had the money and balls to daily a v4s (I'd probably baby it) I would for sure buy all those frivolous mods. Fuck yeah baguettes for all!!!
"They are our new sponsors, oh by the way these pieces are stupid af" 🤣🤣🤣
The only mod it needs is also the only mod any bike needs. A nyan cat sticker to cover the factory graphics on the gas tank
I hope you put those OEM parts back on after you made this video.
the thirst thing id change would be the mirrors and the plate holder
Got to do the Clear Clutch Cover!
I plan on doing handlebar risers, a windscreen, carbon fiber wheels and Akrapovic exhaust.
HAHA. Yammi! The whole reason of putting the Ducabike brake spacers, is to get rid of the reflectors!!!
Yam just effectively justified every ebay adjustable and flip away break and clutch lever ever 🤣🤣🤣🤣
All hail the mighty SC project! Definitely looking forward to that noise!
No jokes or sarcasm when working on the DUC @yammie noob. Ducati products require your full, undivided, serious attention sir.
Yam really did the most Ducatista thing and modified everything that didn’t need to be modified. Respect for reinforcing the stereotype. As a purist it hurts
Finally you are working in something good 👍👍👍👍👍
Not a fan of the anodized red parts, for me I prefer the stock bike
@@paullazarro4295 yep. The only mods I'd even consider are for performance, otherwise the stock bike is perfect
Liked for mismatched orientation of brake caliper spacers
Chaos is inevitable. Entropy is unstoppable. Why wait?
Not a ducatista but I would just leave everything stock 😎
A nitrous bottle would make it pop.
I love motovation. Great site. Decked out my street triple w some goodies from them.
Tre flip for the Dream!!!!
You guys rock
you should have dyno that be great stuff 😁👌🏻 To put each test bike in each episode on dyno 👌🏻
You got this!! Do the tre flip!
Yes to treflip
Guilty of adding the Ducabike spacers to my front calipers. My justification was to eliminate the ugly bracket that once housed the reflectors.
Clear clutch cover
patiently awaiting more mods to the Enfield, please
Def do the calliper spacer to get rid of the terrible reflector 👍
The Superduke at 1:25 was ridden by Motonosity and was an animal
Those spacers are a must to remove the reflectors
Oh hell no, my monster is Golden beige and brown. I received a few angry looks of disapproval 2 weeks ago when I drove down to Sud Tirol. Keep that boring red away from me, but give me all the rest!
I own several ducati's. For me real mods are putting carbon fibre parts.
The hat has to come off when working on a Ducati, Noob. As a sign of respect to that beast, like a courtesy. Seriously, it's a Duca-tista thing.
Don’t tell Jared Ducati bolt on’s aren’t a real bike build. He’ll slap you with a Philly cheesesteak across the face.
@@paullazarro4295 haha yes damn autocorrect got me again. All in good fun I like his videos too.
Yam tre flip now. For the queen.
Cant wait to see that CLX 700 video especially since I'm saving my dollarydoos and thats one on my short list.
Just here to make Yam tre-flip.
*In Tony Hawk’s voice* “Do a tre flip!”
I thought you had beef with anodized accessory parts
The number plate sticking out like that looks stupid but apart from that I want that bike.

Get a CS racing exhaust. Looks and sounds so clean
Would love to win this bike and throw all that trash away
Damn, that's a gorgeous bike!!
Solo seat cowl.
I have to see this treflip
But yam I just took off all my anodized parts bc you made fun of me for it then you go and do this... c'mon lol

Do a treflip down el toro papa yams!!!!!
100% duca bois are adding this to their bikes xp
These are the most Ducatista type of mods I’ve ever seen
Lose the Triumph T Shirt and grab a pack of biscotti 👍
But yam, we all are dying to hear them Italian stallions sing free
6:15 is proof that Yam just wants to watch the world burn 😃
edit: this is the point, where I liked the video
Yeah, love the smell of them "farkles".
Be aware of single use bolts on Ducati's
Can’t you just reverse the bike onto the lift and clamp the rear wheel when working on it?
Do the tre flip and I will too
Are you going to recalibrate the front and rear suspensions for the increase unsprung mass? 😉
So Awesome...
I doubt those parts are any better than stock ducati parts?
I have a VITPILEN 401 with about 10k miles on it, do you think a street fighter v2 would be a good second bike. Or should I get the monster
