Was able to snag one. Threw on some Bulgarian Type 3 furniture (plastic salmon colored stock and bakelite handguards). I also have a Bulgarian Bakelite bayo that I didn't bother to see if it would fit until I saw this vid. Very impressed with this rifle.
I picked one up and really like the gun. I’ve only put 100 rds through it due to ammo supply. One thing I noticed was black circle 10’s were hard to lock in and remove. Beryl and the clear 20 were much easier. This is definitely a keeper.
I have a few of the WBP 5.56 mags as well as actually FB mags. The WBP is less rigid and more flexible than the FB. WBP mags also have a waffle type pattern to them and are a bit more opaque. They seem to function just fine, haven't really beat on them though.
Looks like K-VAR also quietly dropped a small amount of 107-UR's recently as well. I plan on checking their site multiple times throughout the coming weeks to see if anything else cool pops up.

Nice. Better with a lighter titanium reliever IMO. Never a big fan of riveting a stamped receiver to a trunion but a forged steel receiver is unnecessarily heavy. As titanium has more "spring" than steel it should last longer too as steel is more susceptible to metal fatigue.

Are they heavier? yes but its not as much as many seem to think. For one, part of what made the original AK T3 so heavy was its barrel. Also its wood furniture and just all machined small parts. With newer milled AKs, while the receiver has some weight, the rest of the rifle does what it can to balance this out. And balance is the key. The SAM5/SAM7 has a good centerpoint, so its easy to handle and fire. The difference in weight between a milled and a stamped receiver is about like adding an optic, and funnily enough people don't complain about the weight when they put their Waunder-COG on something.
