I have a 4.6 3V, this video’s not even useful to me. Just love watching a master at his craft. Keep up the great content! If you’re in FL I wouldn’t mind someone to bring mine to when it hits 70k mi.

Can you tell me how to adjust the throttle stop screw? Bought a stock 65mm and the screw was missing.

If you purchase a replacement throttle screw from Ford, they paint the threads to show you base setup. The bbk 65mm setup instructions should work to help you out. If you can't find anything, I will take a picture of mine for you.

@chasingmustangs I purchased it from a junk yard. But if you can please send a pic or instructions. Anything will help. Thanks
What I'm confused is how other people also adjust their rpm. They do it mostly with the throttle stop screw instead with the air bleed screw. And they claim to be old Ford techs or tuners

Did you make sure your idle screw is adjusted correctly?

@@chasingmustangs it’s not a screw , it’s an air bleeder , i wanted to ask some questions before i messed with it , i’ve always had an idle screw first car without one

@@chasingmustangs since turning it down to about 800 stopped the chop should i try to go lower to about 650-700?

@danimartinez-bb2yf yes, there is a bleeder, but there is also a screw you should make sure is in stock setup before adjusting the bleeder. Based on the information you provided, I was asking if you validated that?

@danimartinez-bb2yf I would see how the car runs around 700ish. 800 is safe, in most situations.

Yo I don't think you reconnected your idle air control.

I did, probably did not show it on video.
