I just fpund your channel and it's really really great. I've only seen 4-5 so far. I like to learn some parametric modeling and maybe even doing dome CFD as I understand it can be done in FreeCAD.

I have so much to learn. Does FreeCad have an equivalent function?
The FreeCAD Part Design workbench has a shell function (called 'thickness') that will do the same. This hasn't worked for me on times that it really should have; be mindful if doing it on a complex shape, try doing it every time you add a feature to make sure it won't break.

this on a xeon processor 32gb ram quadro m2200 graphics. Don't judge performance by anything you see in RUclips videos. Between heavy screen recording and video edits, things appear both faster and slower than they really are.
@JokoEngineeringhelp I will take a look at his video thanks! I've been looking around and thinking about building a better pc to run cad. It seems like freecad takes alot of processing power but I am happy with it for the most part.

It is awesome man! I have a question based on SW and Freecad compatibility. I have been using SW for 4 years now and just switched back to the Freecad. Wondering, if I can use solidworks technical drawings for Freecad designs? Does freecad have all the features that Solidworks has?
Could you tell me a little more about what your workflow would look like between the two? FreeCAD and SolidWorks have different kernels, so running documents between the two would be quite limited.
