  • These are the steps necessary to pull your Cub Cadet Engine. This engine is a Kohler KT17 Series 1, which will be nearly identical to a KT17 Series 2 or a Magnum 18 engine. This tractor is a Cub Cadet 782. Other versions that are very similar are the Cub Cadet 582, 682, 1810, 1811, and 1812. This technique of pulling the motor will be very similar on any wide frame cub cadet, starting around 1971 with the 108 and continuing through the 1990s. These two cub cadets are from the 1980s.

      Lol thank you! So far it has needed no major maintenance. I was looking at the brakes the other day and they look like they have hardly ever been activated thanks to the Regenerative braking picking up a lot of the work.
