This is exactly what i needed but when i searched up interior lighting, all i got was results more oriented towards product visualization or architecture. I do have a question with lighting. I feel i struggle alot with not knowing how strong i should make lights and i feel it makes all lights just mix together and not give any actual depth (not sure if that makes sense). How is it that you know what strength to assign to each light?
One big way to help this issue is to always build to real world scale. The math in blender follows real world physics so the lights also follow this same math and making things larger than scale or smaller than scale will make lighting more difficult! You can always look up the actual power of different types of lights to get exact strengths, but I think practice and persistence is the best way to achieve good results. The more you do it the more intuitive it feels, and the more time you spend lighting, the more likely it is to look and feel naturally yet still artistic!
Perfect timing
Hope it’s useful!
