It's the women who were his victims that I feel compassion for. Among them were women in bad relationships, with alcohol and poverty and accommodation problems. One victim in particular went out in the very late hours to find a client so that she could afford a few pennies for a bed in a doss house. She never came back. That's essentially what her whole value and life was reduced to, at the hands of that serial murderer. May they rest in peace now.

While the carpenter was doing the floorboards he found James Maybrick's diary, which contained graphic details of all of the Ripper killings.
