One thing people keep saying that I don't necessarily agree with is the, "They haven't brought in a crazy blue chip player to help turn this around. It feels so sustainable." I don't agree with that sentiment because in the same breath they say how great Skatt is and how he should be in the Heisman contention. I mean he has 2,000 of our 5,500 yards this season. That's going to be difficult to replace. I'm trying to be cautiously optimistic but I expect a decent drop next year.

It can only get better because ASU will be a “Destination School” because of the combination of the right coach and the right atmosphere ( Tempe) which will bring in 4 and even 5 star recruits.

They beat two PAC 12 teams and nearly beat Oregon. And then you have the audacity to claim Skattebo should be on the same stage as Ashton Jeanty? Jeanty has 1,000 more yards than Skattebo. I’m sorry, but you are letting your feelings and bias cloud your judgement.
In all honesty, i respect Boise and I honestly believe Jeanty would be averaging 150 yds in any conference. The problem I have is you set Jeanty to the side and that Boise team doesnt have much going for them. Boise will be getting their bye and in week 2 of the CFP we will see if Boise can compete with ranked teams that have good defenses.

Neither ASU or Boise St should be anywherre near the Bye.... Who gives a shit who gets it... none of them deserve it. There should be a criteria thay only top 8 teams are eligible for a bye... arguing that a none top 12 teams shoukd get a bye is ridiculous.
No one deserves a bye. But the CFP guidelines give it to teams that win conference championships with the best records. Winning an extra game at the end of the season spares these teams of a 3 game play off while merely going by the rankings popularity contests just makes the play offs an extension of the SEC also-rans season.
