I hear you on Bama. I'm a Bama fan and I don't think they really deserve a top 12 spot. That said, if SMU loses, tou can't tell me that resume with 2 losses deserves a spot. Who is their 1 loss? BYU? The only decent team they played. I won't be surprised if Bama does or doesn't get in. I'd like to see it, but I'm not going to sit here and say it's deserved. We'll see.

People need to look back around the last 10 years and see what teams would have made a 12 team playoff. There are teams that will have no business in the playoffs almost every year moving forward. People need to get over it.

While I agree that none of the three loss SEC teams should get in, I don't understand how you classify Bama's loss to OU as worse than Ole Miss losing to UK. UK's Ole Miss win was their only P4 win and they just got dog walked by Louisville. OU, while def not good this season, also has what now looks like a pretty strong G5 win over Tulane. So if OU is disqualifying, UK has to be doubly disqualifying.

The ACC doesn't have anything like the money available in the Big 12. A money, far more than ever, matters most because of NIL and transfer window plus where young coaching wizards can make a huge difference in 1 to 2 years! Big 12 is the richest conference, even without OU and UT.

Alabama should be nowhere near the CFP. Last year was bad. This year would be catastrophic for the CFP. The CFP has a massive "Alabama" bias problem, and they need to shed themselves of it.

They beat 8-4 Washington State handily, who beat Texas Tech and Washington. The Big12 is getting the shaft from the voters putting the 4th, 5th, and 6th best teams in the SEC ahead of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams in the Big12, even though the SEC teams have 3 losses and the Big12 teams have 2.
