Arizona State has been an incredible story in college football. They’re picked last in the Big 12, and for them to exceed expectations and go to the CFP is something that I never would have expected

Kenny Dillingham is the perfect coach for Arizona State. They weren't supposed to be this successful this quickly, and once they start getting 4 and 5 star recruits from the Phoenix area their future will be even brighter

@@RobbieStacks90 You forget that pretty much all of the Top 10 teams have their blemishes. If Ohio State can lose to Michigan, Notre Dame can lose to (checks notes) Northern Illinois, and Tennessee can lose to Arkansas, then Arizona State can pull it off.

@@rawn4203GT played a tough game. Dont forget UGA also beat Tennessee, Texas(twice), and clemson. They can definitely rise up to the occasion. Only team that can dominate them right not is Ole Miss, but they didn’t make it. Maybe Bama, but they havent played their best ball lately.

What a game. Proud to have two family Alumni from ASU. This team should be in the top 5. The playoff committee is a joke. The top four teams should be conference winners. Pat Tilman is looking down and smiling. All the other people said the PAC-12 was weak. Two former PAC-12 teams in the conference title game in their first year of a new conference. It appears your conferences are weak instead.
PAC 12 definitely impressed. ASU continually underestimated by everyone, until this game MADE them pay attention.

I hate it the Arizona State defense back was ejected for that targeting hit on the Iowa State quarterback because I do not believe there was malicious intent. I do agree that it was indeed textbook targeting these kids must use their shoulders to hit defenseless quarterbacks nowadays I just hate it the ASU player will miss the first half of his first playoff game.
Intent isn't as important as being responsible for your body. Unfortunately if they want that type of hit out of the game they need to enforce it consistently and not based on intent. These kids need to learn to hit responsibly.

ASU gets the bye in week 1 play-off. Gonna be a tough out for ANY team. Defense flying around. Balanced offense. QB that is smart and scrambles. And of course, the sledgehammer running game. If they get way behind against offensive powerhouse like Oregon, that might be the only way they lose

He seems quite good, though I'd add the caveat that Skattebo makes his job soooo much easier. That guy is a menace in all the right ways and his presence in the field messes with the defense.

Colorado vs Arizona State would have been a better game.
Deion made the mistake of trying to be loyal early in the season and it cost them. He was loyal to the guys who played well in practice and who had been here last year (Trevor Woods, Charlie Offerdahl) instead of going with the new guys who were naturally more talented. After the lineup changes, CU was noticeably better.

Colorado would’ve been crushed even worse💀 the closest team that could come to beating ASU would be BYU. That would’ve been the best game. BYU rolled through CO, ASU destroyed ISU, BYU vs ASU was a fairly close game that BYU could’ve won. No team in the conference would beat this second half of the season ASU team, but the BYU ASU rematch would’ve been the closest.
