Skattebo is something between Doug Martin and Marshawn Lynch. I don’t know how else to describe him. He runs nothing like Riggins. I like the Mike Alstott comparison someone made but Alstott as an all around blocking fullback and receiver was about as one of a kind as anyone.
That targeting call against the ASU defender was total BS! If that’s targeting then they need to just get rid of tackling and just play 2 hand touch football. The defender’s momentum took him into the head area. It was just a good aggressive play, no malicious intent!

Intent isn't as important as being responsible for your body. Unfortunately if they want that type of hit out of the game they need to enforce it consistently and not based on intent. These kids need to learn to hit responsibly.

Deion made the mistake of trying to be loyal early in the season and it cost them. He was loyal to the guys who played well in practice and who had been here last year (Trevor Woods, Charlie Offerdahl) instead of going with the new guys who were naturally more talented. After the lineup changes, CU was noticeably better.
Colorado would’ve been crushed even worse💀 the closest team that could come to beating ASU would be BYU. That would’ve been the best game. BYU rolled through CO, ASU destroyed ISU, BYU vs ASU was a fairly close game that BYU could’ve won. No team in the conference would beat this second half of the season ASU team, but the BYU ASU rematch would’ve been the closest.

Arizona State was clearly the better team. On a separate note, what is the deal with Big 12 officials and foul calls? They let offensive linemen get away with almost anything and then they throw a flag if a defensive back merely closes his fist. They even missed a false start. I wasn't the only one who saw it, ASU defenders pointed it out. How do you miss a false start? Even in high school football, that would be seen as unacceptable. So they have things to talk about in the off-season.
BIG 12 officiating crews are one of, if not the worst out there. ISU fans have known this for yrs, it's almost an ongoing joke for ISU fans for how bad they have been for them.

Arizona State was clearly the better team. On a separate note, what is the deal with Big 12 officials and foul calls? They let offensive linemen get away with almost anything and then they throw a flag if a defensive back merely closes his fist. They even missed a false start. I wasn't the only one who saw it, ASU defenders pointed it out. How do you miss a false start? Even in high school football, that would be seen as unacceptable. So they have things to talk about in the off-season.
BIG 12 officiating crews are one of, if not the worst out there. ISU fans have known this for yrs, it's almost an ongoing joke for ISU fans for how bad they have been for them.
