    I heard about this movie over a year ago on Reddit about how Shia Laboeuf’s playing Shia Laboeuf’s dad in a movie about Shia Laboeuf that Shia Laboeuf wrote, and it just seemed like a very welcome Shia-ception and I’ve been waiting for news on it ever since. So glad it’s gotten to this point. Does anyone know when it’s coming out? Edit: Apparently this came out two months ago, is the movie already out?

    • @Fmakegeo6
      @Fmakegeo6 5 лет назад +12

      In a way he’s not that underrated. He's the type of actor who gets better with time/maturity, due to his "antics/tantrums" and his celebrity childhood. He just now starting to "humble" himself and mature and will grow into the actor he's meant to be. Everyone could see the seed of his talents but he didn't really show it until it was his time, which I think, is starts now or in this immediate future and the best thing about it is that, you can see it in his face that he knows it aswell.

      A lesson I almost lost my life to learn that helps me more than anything. This is for those who are suffering. I don't care what you're suffering from you need to hear this. There is healing and growth in pain. You HAVE to do life like you're a motherfucking warrior on a battle field. The warrior doesn't sit around and wait for the battle to start and be over. He trains hard, puts himself through much suffering, and is restless in his pursuit to be a capable warrior. When I said I almost lost my life trying to seek instant gratification and delaying and avoiding ANY amount of discomfort or pain, I don't mean I almost died, I mean I almost wasted my life never living. And tbh I have to remind myself of this often and spend time focusing and being mindful of it otherwise I begin to take it "easy" again. Even though I now know damn well there's no such thing.

To forgive those who hurt you and to put yourself in their shoes and think about the things they was going through at the time or at least have an understating of why they are the way they are helps too. Like the saying goes you can forgive but never forget. But if you can forgive you can free yourself from a prison of anger hurt and pain. Because it’s not about them it’s about you and letting go is freeing in itself. The only thing that ties you to them still is holding on to those feelings of hurt.

    It can be so weird growing up with an actor because in most cases you don't really see them grow in real time. You just get short glimpses of their life and that's it. They could be 12 one day then two years later turn 19. Because that movie you saw them in is 5 years old or the tv show was just re-runs
    With Shia however I felt like I watched him grow in real time. From Even Stevens to Transformers, through all the crazy drama and to now. Because of that I can't help but root for him in whatever he does.

    Over the past two months, Shia Labeouf has become one of my biggest inspirations. He has so much love and creativity to share and I'm at a point in my life where I am ready to recognize and channel past trauma into something good. I think a lot of us feel that way. He is so important. And not even in a one-sided fandom sort of way. The parts of him that we are lucky enough to see are just wonderful examples of letting your freak flag fly and conjuring compassion.

    I have a lot of issues stemming from an alcoholic dad who didnt want me, a drug addicted mother who didn't know how to love me, and the neglect and abuse i suffered by not only them but also the men brought into my life by my mother. There are certain d things i cant watch, certain songs i cant hear, and smells that bring me right back into the middle of chaos again. Sometimes there are unexplainable feelings ( stomach churning phobic feelings that wash a sense of dread, dirtiness, and loneliness over my being) that creep into the pit of my stomach and crawl across my skin. It feels so alien and yet somehow entirely familiar. The worst part is that i cannot place my finger on it. I have no recoection of where that particular feeling comes from, or what causes it to happen..
    Didnt mean to ramble.. Whole point in saying this is solely to ex0lain how deeply that saying has imprinted itself on me because of what ive been through.

    You can tell franchises aren't for him anymore. He's indie to his core and looks down on anything popcorn-ish. It'll be disappointing if we see one day that he's signed on for something Marvel as it'll just be a money move.

      I would be disappointed if he ever turned down a role that he wanted to do in general. If he wants to be a superhero in a marvel movie a voice actor in a DreamWorks film or a disheveled homeless man. Let him perform his art on his terms.

    I’m a 57 year old alcoholic. My late mother was a very violent alcoholic. My dad would be out of town and I had to hide as she looked for me and my siblings with a giant kitchen knife. We had bunk beds and would hide, petrified. When my dad was home, I’d be awoken to him holding mommy down and I’d beg him not to hurt her, not realizing he was keeping her from killing us.
