add the option to not stitch on the drone. the stitching never works and just used up flight time. Gimble improvements need to be made to maintained level horizons. Flyover option for waypoints needs to actually fly over without stopping at the waypoint.
Agree with you for the option of not letting the drone do the stitching, but not for that often distorted word like here, "gimble," which certainly isn't an accurate way to write gimbal.

It would be great if you would add this feature to the Evo 1 as you promised long, long ago. I keep getting app updates, yet us with the Evo 1 get nothing for updating.
E1 does not have the processing capability. Reminds me of others that wanted same M2P features on the MP... not going to happen for that very reason. Cameras, Digital music gear, other stuff are never going to get the same feature sets of the newer production models.

What is Autel's stand on future changes to Geo Fencing? At the beginning, "no geofencing" was a pretty high selling feature. Now it is "Geo Fencing for FYI only, will not prevent take off". Now if the unit came with limiting features like Geo Fencing right off the gate, that's one thing. However, people buy these (expensive) things for certain feature set, and changing those features via mandatory firmware updates afterwards is like the car dealership taking back the spare wheel when you go to get the first service done after buying the car brand new. And telling you its for your own safety.
The total lack of support or updates for the Evo 1 absolutely guarantees I will not be upgrading to the Evo 2. There is no excuse for not rolling some if these updates to the 1.
E1 does not have the internal processing power. This has been answered often. My A6000 Sony does not have the same feature set on the A7III... same reasons. These are designed around the tech available at the time, but also consider the R/D and overall design is likely 2 or 3 years prior to release. With that internal processors may be older tech designs. DJI and others do the same thing. M2P got new modes that MP did not
My Evo 1 after the latest explorer app update is all messed up. I'm working with Evan at Autel, but don't think I'm going to get any of the problems solved.
Q : can I reverse the function of the scroll wheel for cam tilt function ? -it's more logical for me if "forward scroll" tilts down and "back" means up... Just like an elevator stick on all aircrafts. Maybe I should just tear it apart and switch the wires on the wheel :-)
You are REALLY dropping the ball with the introduction of the geo fencing. The WHOLE reason I even looked past DJI is because of the geo fencing. I know you SAY you won't restrict, but that is next, I am sure. I just spent almost $3000 on a knew Evo 2 Pro 6K and haven't been able to use it at all because it will not update the firmware. Here's a thought, why don't you get everything else, you know the basic stuff, working flawlessly, THEN worry about adding more "cool" features. If you have geo fencing too, then I will just go with DJI. They don't have these ridiculous issues.
With the Surreal prices offered by autel robotics to its products it will probably be almost impossible to reach or even surpass the DJI manufacturer's level in relation to DRONES. If you continue in this exorbitant value footprint, you will be forgotten like many other companies.
IMPORTANT: Autel really needs to get the missing features ported to Android. Consider: The V2 Smart Controller runs Android version of Autel Explorer. Do you really want to be shipping a $1200 Controller that is hobbled? I hope not since I pre-ordered it in early August. Come on Autel!
My question is, since the new Nano and Lite series will have the new cinematic modes like DJI. Is it going to be available for the Pro series as well? Coming form a DJI and I really like these features for when i a time crunch and need to get the job done with no hassle. Also in agreeance with the issue about the Geo Fencing. This is a good reason others left DJI to go to you. Don't be a follower, be a leader!
Here's 2 really critical items: For the new panorama's: A) The ability to escape the stitching process. All the attempts I have made failed, short of exiting the Application and restarting which is as dangerous as not being able to see FPV in some scenarios. B) How about an option to delete the pano photos, which take some amount of space consumption, and offer the same option with Hyperlapse photos, which can use a substantial amount of space. C) Finally offer a post stitching option for those spheres since there are few apps that average consumers can find and relatively no mobile applications.
@Autel. I'm trying to change my flight control settings but I don't see a "Save" option. And everytime I go into a newer part of the Menu and come back to flight control, it defaults back to the manufacturers settings. Can someone tell me how?

I am constantly loosing focus on Auto focus... In just few seconds is out of focus ... I click phone screen...back in focus for a few seconds... Than again is going out of focus...
So, are all these new features added to your user manual in written format? Or are we to only rely on your videos. Detailed documentation in the user manual for reference should be a priority by AR so everyone has the information readily available. As you upgrade your products AR needs to upgrade the user manual for their products.

It appears my EVO 1 is what it is ... and will not be updated. Fortunately, what it is has been a reliable device which I will continue to use ... I'd upgrade to an EVO 2 now if it were not for the for the impending need soon for an RID compliant device.
Working with Evan at Autel via email regarding issues with the Evo1 being messed up after the latest explorer app update for android July 11 2021. Hope we can get this worked out. It's more then just the camera issues. It's the settings in the visual navigation that is all messed up.
for best result in difficult light conditions, it will be cool that we can keep all images take for spherical panorama in RAW (this will allow to be processed and assembled the panorama in post production)... for the next upgrade ? ;)
In panorama mode Manual exposure is not true manual. With Manual Exposure I would expect to be able to manually set the shutter speed, aperture and ISO. Whilst you can manually set the shutter and the ISO, you cannot set the aperture value. I do a great many 360 panoramas and I have found manual exposure the best way to get consistent results and the least work in post processing. Presumably Autel will rectify the omission of the aperture setting sometime soon.
I appreciate the new pano capture update but I need the ability to customize the area captured ie. FOV. Currently it captures (even in your examples) way too much ground. I tried starting with the gimbal pointed towards the sky (kiiler cloud formations) but the pano captured a little sky and a lot of ground. Am I doing something incorrect??? thanks!
You know what would be cool, is to modify the pano stitching logic with a mapping mission where you can't get good GSD due to alt limits but don't need anything more than a jpg. So you know point it straight down to get a complete view? I know they have post for this but that would open up for some cool shots without paying for post processing software that can be pricey$$$...

support YES, extras? NO... not enough processing power to do so. That is why the E2 was near twice the cost in the first place. I bought the E2, and it is leaps and bounds better. Love my E1 still, but for my serious work, it's all E2

You should add obstacle avoidance/radar sensitivity adjustment. It's too sensitive while it's on currently 😔

Randomly, glasses engage! The gimbal adjustments have been one of my favorites.
Please allow the gimbal to pan in the next update.

Isn't it kinda stupid that the drone doesn't use the extra 30degrees of upward pitch on the gimbal, when doing 360 panoramas?
