This video was recommended to me after reading the EN version. Really love the story, thank you for covering it. Also, pretty sure Byakko is female and was referred as she. The girl who saved Ichigo and Sumomo in their assassin mission was another girl who happened to very Aoi look-alike, that's why they have such fondness for Aoi initially.
This is my favorite maeda jun's work. I didn't enjoy most of animes made by him because it felt repetitive and predictable. What was supposed to be sad felt empty because i know he's already done the same thing in his previous works. I guess anime wasn't a suitable medium for him. It was far too limiting for him as he has to think about cramming a lot of explanations and details he was supposed to make in a limited amount of episodes. You can tell that he's enthusiastic about this game. Because although there are a few similiraties with the animes he made there are also things that he improved or explored further. I genuinely liked all of the characters in this game. Far better than any characters in the animes he made. Like, i knew some of them are going to die because maeda jun is writing it. But he spent a lot of time developing the characters explaining their motives and helped us knowing them better. Haven't seen any of the side stories, but i know i'll enjoy it.
Glad to see a new video from you :D Not gonna watch it because I'm not sure if I'll ever play this game, but I'll let the video play so you can have the watch time :) Btw, not sure if you've ever answered this before, but how did you learned japanese? I've been going through a lot of learning resources but I can't seem to stick to one for one reason or another, maybe you could make a video on it?
I've answered it in a reply before shorthand. I rolled around the thought of making a big video on it every now but ended up shelving it. Still yeah maybe I'll do it sometime.
Wonderful game and the devs are getting better at storytelling and gameplay content. There's just huge content drought between chapters and half of the side events are misses. Love the story but the gameplay grind just isn't worth it. I uninstalled a while back and keep up to date by watching other streamers instead. I'm glad someone is actually covering this title nonetheless, thanks!
Honestly really dissapointed this game isn't available in a language I can understand, sounds like just my type of game. Hopefully you can still do some more chapter reviews cuz that's the only way I can experience It!
"I'm about to spoil absolutely everything up until chapter 4" I didn't watch the video, but I'm wondering if I should wait until this game is out in English (if it happens), or just watch this video 🤔
Yeah, I'm not sure about that story. It feels too much telegraphed "please cry" that made me drop PlaMemo and Your Lie in April. I don't know why, but as I got older, I just don't find the formula to work for me anymore. I guess it's because I now know where it's heading and what it's doing, that instead of being sad when the time comes, I just went "yep, that exactly as I expected it to go." Which also poisons the build-up and the comedic stuff leading up to the moment because I can see the hands of the writer, that they're supposed to endear me to the characters for that moment, and I see the artificiality of it (doesn't help that there's often a formula of anime hijinks stupid wacky side and tragic backstory side that doesn't mesh well and tries to contextualize their wacky side with the backstory stuff). Maybe the Key stuff I enjoyed as a teen hits harder because I didn't see it back then, or maybe the quality of the story IS better back then. Rui's backstory did make me cry and even after I caught on to the formula Demon Slayer's moments still hits pretty hard and Madoka Magica remains my "watch to cry and feel good about crying" anime to this day, so I don't think my heart's fully shriveled up by NTR games I played. Maybe what makes me cry has changed. Maybe character dying no longer makes me sad and series that builds up towards that just doesn't work for me and I ended up seeing the writer's hands and hating it. I don't know, but the fact that I can't play this game on Linux certainly won't help me find out. I don't know if actually playing the game would make ms sad, but kernel level anticheat with no Linux compatibility does make me angry and depressed.
@@pauljerome01 they honestly becomes pretty mundane at some point, but sometimes they have some fun themes like in Scars of Summer and Dark Hero Party.
beyond beautiful. The pastel colors are too pretty too. And I can't get enough of the musics...
sigh, language limitation is painful!!!
@@renaldiroekanto789 good news for u
If you ask me, the second part of episode 4 is a masterpiece.
I hope we get a localization, I'm sold on the music alone!
We are ! We just need a date right now
Playing since day one
I can say story wise its the most beautiful mobage in the current market.

Yeahhhh the gameplay is a tough one for sure, which is what this whole thing is for.
It's rather funny knowing that Jun Maeda's best written work is for a gacha game lmao
I'd go as far as putting this above Clannad.

Chapter 4 completely changes everything from chapter 1 so, I don’t recommend it
