good video. i've very recently started playing "AIR", which is my first KEY visual novel. i have their other works (CLANNAD, planetarian, rewrite, summer pockets, LOOPERS, etc.) wishlisted on steam, so i'll make sure to keep this one on my radar.
If you liked Stella of the End, you might also really enjoy Eden*: They were only two, on the planet. Its a Kinetic VN with a bittersweet ending; It features a gruff military man tasked with protecting a cute artificial female person and their relationship as they bond; it has a future earth apocalypse with a high tech transhumanist project to save humanity in the plot; It has copious amounts of beautiful scenery and visual effects. The English version was published by Minori in 2015 on Mangagamer.
Hi August, thanks for another succinct and sweet review! I've watched a lot of your videos, even for VNs I don't plan to read, and thanks to you and a few others I've decided to start dabbling in content creation (on a different channel from this one). I'm currently working on a deep dive of a VN, and maybe one day it'll come across your feed. If it does, I hope you enjoy it. But seriously, thank you for inspiring me to make something of my own. I've wanted to for a long time and only gained the motivation recently.
And this is not even 50% of what Romeo Tanaka can do with a story, imo. He was heavily limited in his creativity again (just like with Rewrite), but still delivered a mature and compelling story.
let's hope it gets ported to switch .. these days we had Lunaria, I think the package will get to me tomorrow ;) That is not about robots tho but about a virtual world I guess.. I am really not sure.
I got the game based off the review and I just finished. Really enjoyable, though I enjoyed Planetarian a tad more among Key's robo sadgirl VNs. Thanks for the recommendation!
Placing this one on my bucket list. ...... because I'm the biggest sucker for innocent heroines like her. ...... and because Key's other VN about a robot didn't make me cry enough apparently xD
Waiting for this to release on switch. By any chance, have you also read their other sound novel "Lunaria", pretty interested on that one since it's written by the guy who did a little well-known novel called Iris on Rainy Days
Getting back into visual novels and I've gotten great suggestions from this channel. Finished Saya no Uta last weekend and picked up Meteor World Actor on Jast for only $7 to read next. My main hobby has always been video games but the writing on most video games is terrible in comparison to some visual novels. Do you have a video with a list of great visual novels that are also video games? Example Baldr Sky. I'd love to get my hands on more like that.
I'm having trouble getting into this one, I bought it after really loving Loopers and having also really enjoyed Atri, this one just hasn't been able to hook me in(yet)
Great video, mentions of the last of us means something alright, something really "massacerry" on the ending. Anyway, unrelated topic question but I'm curiuos either way, have you ever played Disco Elysium?
Sorry for asking this but I just bought koikari love for hire on steam but when I press start is just a black screen and a message in Japanese appears do you know any way to fix it
Both are really good But Stella of the End takes the cake here for me And it's also being backed up by amazing visuals(planetariun lacks this) and music
i just finished it uhuuu 😭😭😭 could you kindly recommend me something like this that'll fill my void 🥹 (probably be at void after finishing said vn too)
>Robot VN by Key
You don't have to say anything else. Shut up and take my money, Key
"Keys best emotional robot story" wait how many emotional robot stories does key have then
To be honest, I just know about this one. But if we're talking about Key's Robot Story, I know the other one; Planetarian.
Three as far as I'm aware, Planetarian, Harmonia and Stella of the End.
It’s a trilogy. Planterian & Harmonia and now Stella
This exactly my type of shit though
I only know Planetarian & Harmonia
it's really a banger, I hope it gets an anime one day
I hope not, I don’t think my heart can take it a second time
Summer pockets got one! I was so happy when it got announced. Surely this will got an adaption!
@@sequentia1 if by time then 2030 is the schedule for Stella of the end
This visual novel at least deserves animated movie
It's really peak
ロボヒロインの中でもフィリアは人間らしいです。最後のウィレム・グロウナーが言った事は未来のイブと繋がっていてとても面白かったです。
good video.

I think this might be the new vn with my favourite osts.
This vn by itself added so many tracks to my playlist

Cried hard witnessing the ending.

Nice review! How does this one compare to ATRI?
More sci-fi and action heavy, less on romance, but equally excellent.
I would recommend Stella of the End more from a general standpoint
@@TheAugustHailAwesome, thanks!
August hail, please play and review Clover Days Plus

It's probably asking you what language you want. That said, please go onto the NekoNyan discord for help
@@TheAugustHail it says a error occurred, cannot convert the variable type ((void) to object) but thanks for the help,I try asking in the Discord
How is Stella of the End compared to Planetarian?

Same exact thoughts!
@@TheAugustHail 👁👁
I am still waiting for your new upload
Apologies its been a while but I wanted to be prepared to release a lot of stuff for the rest of the year~
Makes me think what am I as a father, welp, it is what it is. Type of game.
Best kinetic novel from KEY. :)
Planetarian was 👌👌👌👌🤌
i hate key
and every project they have ever produced featuring a silver haired main character that makes me want therapy
i just finished it uhuuu 😭😭😭 could you kindly recommend me something like this that'll fill my void 🥹 (probably be at void after finishing said vn too)
