Blizzard has been fixing and updating Diablo 4 since its global launch. Lately Rogue has been nerfed with a focus on its most powerful build, Twisting Blades / Death Trap. After my first video I went in to test how the nerf actually affects the build and give my thoughts about the overall balance.

The most Hardcore part is moving to another country in order to play Hardcore, amazing. It was really interesting to hear your story, most people would assume you "just played" but getting an in-sight into the preparation and dedication it takes was very interesting. Congratulations!

@@brooktech7869 VPN don't help against bad internet connection
@@brooktech7869 VPNs slow down your internet connection, because they connect to a different server in another country, before connecting to the web adress you actually want to go to (to describe it very, very simply). Sometimes the slow-down is huge. And you absolutely do not want to introduce more lag than already there in hardcore. Don't get me wrong, I think moving to another country is absolutely overkill, but IF that is what you want to do, "just buying a VPN" isn't an equal alternative.
EDIT: In addition, his reason to move to a different country was the fact, that his internet was too slow. Using a VPN would have made everything behave EVEN SLOWER. So not only is using a VPN not a viable alternative, it's the dumbest thing you could possibly do for this goal in this context. Again, I think moving to a different country is total overkill. On the other hand, I 100% understand having to live with a slow internet connection feels like the worst. Been there.

Congrats man that’s awesome I’m lvl 53 atm just beat the game yesterday and have been farming whispers for legendary heart and aspects I got all legendary great note fully upgraded with gems slotted it’s pretty op for my world tier now it’s time for the cathedral of light I hope I blow through it

Bro your story is kinda intense and very interesting. I just wanted to give a huge mention to your women, she's stuck with you through all of the ups and downs, and you are one lucky man to have someone stay with you and support you to do what you love. I really hope you figure out different ways to create content around the games besides gameplay so that you can level up to the next tier lol. Good luck my brother, and thank you for all the content. Wish I could play more, but being an adult 😪 is a bit distracting.

Im only 2 minutes into the video, but I love how you explain what it took to get there. We often look at sucessful people and assume their achievements were a given. Luck, talent etc. Here is a guy putting hundredst of hours into this before the game is even out. It is an important reminder that if you want to achieve something, you need to be ready to do "what it takes" to get there.
I am really happy for you to have such a nice and supportive fiancée.
A lot of girl friend, fiancée or wife also don't really like their guy to spend time with games and not accompany them.

Seriously, you should consider uploading the entire 1 to 100 run to RUclips, perhaps on a second 'VOD' channel. Maybe look at how someone like Cohh does that. Twitch will be deleting the VOD in 2 months and something like that really deserves to be preserved. If you split it into 30 or 60 minute chunks you'd have a ton of videos and even if each only gets 5-10k views that's still quite a bit of extra well deserved income for you.

I would really like to see clears of both of your capstone dungeons. I had a surprisingly difficult time with the first one at lvl 42 softcore.

this was very insightful! just hit 73 on my HC sorc (after losing my 43 Rogue day 2 :c) and man, this is getting so slow to level solo lol so i think its way more impressive doing it solo, well done!

kinda crazy how long you've been in the game. the most profound memory i have is still s17 bc that's when a few of my friends got into D3 and when they needed a DH guide I just send them over to your channel. You had also just released a Rank 1 clear with a build nobody was clearing leaderboards with (don't remember which one).
Then maxroll rolled around and I got that tab favorited ever since
every one who had access to full game mode before pre-launch, tested enough to make sure what kind a build and items he should take to blast thru and be one of the first to level to 100 ! Like almost every one of u, now are godlikes and u making video after video ! Which is logical, do to early access to the game !
Necromancer gets quite fast when you get speed on boots and amulet, so never say never... It was never a mobility class, though. In the end-game necromancer becomes quite tanky. One could even go only melee with two-handed scythe without any problems.

You did a lot to get world first and big congrats! I would also like to know who got first 100 that didnt get the early access and heads up on the game. Kinda puts an * next to the achievement. Not your fault. Blizzard gave it to you but there is someone out there who truely started the game without the additional time and needs to be recognized.

You brought up the xp meta at the end and I totally agree. I feel like alot of the people that raced are now bored because they’re level 100 and just ran the same dungeons over and over with their groups and now are mad that content is boring. I’m level 70 and I’ve been underleveled for stuff alot and just using every part of the game to level and get xp and I’m having the most fun I’ve had in a game in years
He just says that cause he lost the race. Trying to make excuses. Also being solo he couldn't reset the best exp dungeon over and over. If he could, he would have too. IF he was so great he would be grinding nightmare dungeons to 100, not farming lvl 50 dungeons

How do you resolve connection problems ? I died more (in normal mode) thanks to latency than any other reason. It's something completely out of my control. I'm impressed people can do hardcore with this unpredictable factor.

"All the press release did was confirm I was on the right track." Yeah, it didn't allow you to do the full campaign, see all the mob affixes and abilities, test your builds and strengths / weaknesses, basically learn how to survive and when to push the next tier, etc in Hardcore. I think if you were going into it completely blind and fresh like the majority of the other people playing, it would have been a much harder journey. But congrats nonetheless.

Im not trying to downplay this achievment but I just dont understand what is going on here. If there was any competition everyone should have same conditions, I guess this game is based on knowledge like any other Diablo game so I think no one who had access to the game before others should ever claim being the first or even compete. This feels so wierd to me but maybe Im the only one idk

We don't have them everywhere as you know very well. The suburb in Athens we were living in, will probably be among the last to get coverage :/

Congrats on the great run. I wish the world/dungeon stopped scaling at 80 and maybe the pvp zones at 90 so people would have to engage the other content on the way to 100

they arent' eligble for name on statue. There's no official prize for first to 100, it's just a thing in all games where u race to be first.

the build doesn't feel as fun anymore the cd reduction nerf means no more dashing around like a madman and the shadow clone CD hardly gets reduced whatsoever by Twisted Blades

No, you did NOT lose to the group of guys who was EXPLOITING a single dungeon in order to get to 100. They OBVIOUSLY was abusing a bug in the game, which should get them disqualified AND banned. Also, there should have been TWO races to 100: One for SOLO players and one for GROUP players. This entire race was DUMB AS F. Ultimately NO ONE will really care about it in a couple weeks anyways. It was not moderated in any way and most people were just exploiting the games bugs. This is why no one will give a damn about this entire thing.
23:10 that was actually a pointless risk, as far as I know the most advantage you can get is 25% more exp for monsters 3 levels above you at it is capped at that, so running anything that is 4 levels or higher is not worth it

he's one of the biggest ARPG badasses out there but for launch I don't think it made a difference (he also leveled in grp btw), if he plays future seasons he surely can

My story in hardcore mode,
I was playing in PC with the xbox joystick and the battery ran out and I died... Then my internet went down and I died kkkkk
How you get those legandary items? At lvl 44 you have all of your items legendary. I am lvl 44 and have 2 :D

Can you recommend good areas at this lvl?
@@MrKrisMK legendary items have the same drop rate everywhere. But in world tier 3 you get sacred legendary and in world tier 4 you get ancestral legendary. You can farm high density elite dungeons like champions demise or you can do nightmare dungeons or world bosses. All of those have a high drop rate of legendary items.
@@MrKrisMK Dungeons due to mod density are good. As well as finding events in dungeons and the final boss. The more you kill the more chances you have at a drop.
Nice. Aa someone who doesn't stream, has other life goals, and also is a fan of Diablo. I did everything you did (to the non streamer extent) and unless I die, I'll be hitting 100HC today.
Having to plan around everything else in life has been wild but I'm getting it done. I know I can't complete the game as fast as someone who has the opportunity to spend more time in game but I'm having fun and I'm glad you did as well. Cheers

When equip secondary trap?
Once you hit 50 you can start building around 2 traps. Before that I would go the typical TB build or Flurry because you can tank more things easily.

Its ok we know you beta tested but you did the hardest nightmare dungeons and also lilith we would wish the game was not designed that way you could get more xp by +3 monster level max is just bad you could have won if that was the case and i could imagine many ppl dying while pushing nightmare dungeons which is more fun but meh
