Stunning work!!! I use to be stationed in the military about 2 hours from Redding. Beautiful area and I love the mountains but I couldn’t get out of California fast enough. Glad it’s working out for you.
So I have the maxshine rotary. It has a 5” plate. Is it a huge problem to run a 6” 1.25 white and yellow wool double sided pad on this or even a single? Can the backing plate be swapped out for a larger one if not? Process last time was the following. Menzerna liquid sanding compound with 6” uro fiber wool pad. Menzerna 400 with lc orange ccs Wake up with lc white pad Turned out pretty fantastic but the previous decals are still there so I know after I’m done with it for the season I’ll need to get a bit more aggressive.
When wet sanding is masking rub rail recommend? I have typical stainless/rubber. Unfortunately it has exposed stainless screws. Also what would you recommend to remove the hard water marks on stainless or chrome logo/ emblems, rails etc? There is a lot of old wax/cleaner on the rubber and around the metal logo letters. Your videos are fantastic! Thank you for sharing Your expertise!
I watched a lot of your videos, bought everything you said to buy and did my new to me 2000 Angler 204. It came out looking amazing. Wet sand with 500, then 1000, then super heavy cut, heavy cut, Level R, then wax. Thank you for all your help. Could not have done it without it. With that being said, I NEVER EVER EVER and I mean NEVER EVER want to do that again. that was freaking terrible, and I don't see how you do this stuff every day! no way will I do it again. I will pay someone to do it next time!
Hey bro! You can buff over them, it will help bring them back to life as well as the gelcoat. However, just use lighter pressure with whatever buffer you plan to use. If you are going too fast and using too much pressure, you can burn through them.
I'm only curious.. I'm getting ready to do detail on a customer boat I been doin for 10 yrs.. crownline White/ blue.. I compounded buffed & waxed last year.. alot of work.. it has little oxidation lil scratches.. just looking for easier methods.. Maguires flagship cleaner wax?.. I used maguire flagship wax last year.. but what do yall think of that cleaner wax?
If it just needs a quick swirl remove/polish and seal, then I would use Cheyenne supply wake up on a gray Lake country, force, rotation pad, and a DA polisher or force rotation machine, then apply just car power lock, polymer sealant over it for protection.
Where did you draw the line going down the boat to parts you can’t reach since it’s on a trailer. Didn’t see you get down to the very bottom front of the hull. Maybe I’m wrong. Awesome stuff btw super helpful
Curious if you're still gonna make a video on correcting an RV? saw a video about washing and you had a test spot done awhile ago and I'd love to see your process. Awesome job on Malibu!
I do rv detailing on the side, but I'm not as good as Drake, nor do I have the patience to make these videos. That's why he is the man. You can apply most of what he does to an rv. The gel coat just isn't as hard and big flat surfaces offer a lot of room for holograms. I haven't perfected it quite yet.
You can buff a rv the same as a boat! Only difference is the sanding process. I wouldn’t go lower than 2000 grit on a camper. As for making the correction video, I was going to make it … but that camper was my personal camper and we sold it.. so as of now no, I will not be doing a correction video on it. Sorry!

I've got a 1978 33' Bertram that I want to finish in the spring. It's currently drydocked under shrink wrap. I don't think the previous owner ever buffed the boat, it's solid flat white. My question: if I do from the rub rails down before launch, then do the upper helm when I get to my home marina, will this harm the lower, finished hull? Can you estimate how much material I will need for a boat of this size. Thanks. Watching all your videos to learn this properly.
Hey bro! No, a lot people do that. It won’t hurt the bottom finish if you wait to buff the rest when it gets in the water. It’s though to say how much material to but because every gel coat of different in how it responds to the product, and how much product it’s going to take. There is a lot of variables there. I’d say start out with a 32oz bottle of everything you plan to use. Good luck! 😎💯💯
Hi Drake, Love your videos. I'm sure you are asked this question a lot but, how long after you apply the ceramic do you knock it down? Is there a certain feel I'm with the microfiber towels I'm looking for?
Hey bro! What is the difference between rotary and the M8SV2? New to this and don’t know when to use each. Have a dark red boat with oxidation that I want to work on. Thanks great videos!
The rotary buffer is the sign for heavy oxidation removal, and is very strong. The M 8SV2 is a dual action Polisher that is designed for light polishing and applying Sealants.
Love your videos and might do your training course at some point in the future! One quick question, for anything from an extreme restoration to just simple detailing, what’s the difference in the process for gel coat or a painted hull
Drake, great video...very detailed. Thank you. I am new to this using the Maxshine ShineMaster M21 Pro DA Polisher; attempting to take same scratches you have in this video out of my boat and it is scary using sandpaper. Anyway, I used the 1000 and 2000 grit but can't get the deeper scratches out. Is it as simple as more time, more force on polisher, more speed and more passes? any help would be great before i start compound stage....
Hey bro, you can’t use a DA polisher for initial buffing step after sanding, it’s just not powerful enough to level all of the scratch’s out. You will need a rotary buffer for at least two steps of heavy cut compound, and medium cut compound to remove the sanding and scratch marks. After your heavy buffing is done after he sanding process, then you’d move on to the DA polisher steps. The DA polisher will remove the swirls from the rotary buffer and give the surface lots of depth and shine. ✨
HI Drake! WOW amazing you restored the original color blue. If you are ever near the central coast let me know. I could use your advise on removing deep scratches. And you can critique the buff and polish I did.
Great Content and a simple process! Love that you now have an e-commerce site, but stock up on supplies. Would rather support you than shine supply direct. Going to be doing my SAN230 and my buddy's Moomba in a few weeks.

Thanks so much for the video! Can I start with 2000 grit and then go to three or 4000 grit afterwards? This will be the first time I have wet sanded anything. Thanks.
It all depends on your situation, and what your oxidation level is, typically you don’t work it that fine with wet sanding gelcoat. After 2000, trying buffing it with a wool buffer and a heavy cut compound and see if that takes the sanding marks out
How do you keep you colors from bleeding when compounding? I have a dark blue boat with striping that I keep getting the blue into the white. What's the best way to attack it? Thank you.
How many hours and how much would something like that cost on that size boat? I have one very similar it’s 18 foot fast track regal I think you’re in my area I’d like to get it ready before summer time.
I only have rotary polisher and the boat I have is white with medium oxidation. If I did menzerna 400 on white wool pad then on yellow wool pad do u think that would cut enough and leave a nice finish? Also love ur videos.
Hey Bro, beautiful work; luv your videos! How much force are you applying with the Mile/orange pad with Wake Up? Any difference from the old flex? Thanks man!
Amazing work, as usual! Do you think that you would be able to do the same work without wet sanding? Would you get the same result if you do 3-4 steps of heavy compound instead of wet sanding? If yes I suppose it won't last the same time and oxidation will be back sooner
From a non-Detailer to a master Detailer this video provided exactly what I needed to achieve a result on my boat that far exceeded my expectations. Hats off to you! For what it's worth the only negative from me was the volume of the music. Next time turn it way down. It became an unnecessary distraction requiring rerunning several sections multiple times to clearly understand your instructions.
Love all the videos, so much insight and opportunity to try something new after ive watched it. A question i have (recently started a detailing business with friends) How much in materials would you expect to use on a 40’ yacht, hullsides only. Sundancer 290 They think im a little nutty, but i went through a double sided pad, 1 quart of heavy 3M and then much less 3M finesse it and single yellow pad. Is this crazy? We worked out heavy water spots which needed some 1500 dry sand otherwise cleaning them and working out with heavy cut. Thanks, keep up the great work!
Another great video! I just bought a 2007 Regal 2250 and after buffing, I noticed some tiny pinholes in the blue gel goat. It almost looks like white overspray in the blue gel coat. Used hull cleaner on a section and it removed the white wax residue and the marks were almost gone. Any recommendations on using a dark wax on the pinholes or trying something more aggressive to remove the pinholes?
Yes you can! However, all the oxidation must be removed in order for it to adhere properly. It will be a little slick, so be careful. But it’s definitely a great way to keep it cleaned and unoxidized
I just watched your video several times and purchased all your recommended products for my weekend project of detailing my boat. I noticed you used 3 machines. is it necessary to have both the Max Shine and the Rupes Mille. Can I use the Max shine for the wet sand?
Sorry, I reversed it. can I do the max shine machine for the wake up polish step? I would prefer to only buy one machine for the polishing and wet sand. for the wet sand do you put a 6" backer plate on the machine?
Hello Drake greetings!!! I have a quick question do I need to get a force rotation polisher for the end ? Or can I get away with DA? This boat I’m doing is 2023 model! So it’s fairly new and it has water spots. Thank you 🙏🏽
Hey bro, if you’re just starting out, a DA would be fine. But as you grow in your business, I would definitely recommend getting one. It can remove deep, scratch marks from the rotary buffer way better than the DA polisher can.
I followed your steps this weekend on my GW Freedom 275. I am stunned on how well it came out. For reference, I did not know how many wet sand discs were need, ordered 10 of each grit and I wish I had ordered 20 of each. Thanks for the videos.
Stunning out come as always Drake !! Nice work I have a question on pricing I have watched all your videos on Pricing. I get the steps ect ect but that starting price is where i have a dilemma. I stay in Scotland and 90% of the leisure boats around here are cudies through to full cabins. For example i have two Bayliners that im trying to work out a price for one is Bayliner 2655 Ciera the other is Bayliner 2855 Ciera. These boats have about twice as much gelcoat above the rub rail than below. I can't go for the $10 above and $5 below the rub rail. How would you price these boats up ? Both under 30ft. But big areas of gel above and below. Would 20/15 work ?? Cheers Andy
For a rotary, I really like the Maxshine rotary buffer, for a forced rotation I love the Rupes Millie, and for a DA polisher the Maxshine M8S. For the Maxshine products, when you check out feel free to use the discount code DRAKE15 😎
Drake, My boat has a dark blue bottom that is paint and a teal stripe, the top is white. I wet sanded the dark blue section separate from white as colors mix, when buffing should do id the same this do the dark blue them come back and do the white ?
Do you have a bucket kit with everything a boat owner needs to keep their boat top notch? In one of your old videos I saw a kit you used to suggest but since you don’t rep that company anymore can u share a list/links for what your using now?
www.detailusupply.com/products/boat-maintenance-kit-shine-supply Here you go bro! Here’s our most popular detail/ maintenance kit. It does not come with a bucket but it’s still well worth it. It’s currently out of stock but we should have form more coming in very soon!
Amazing work as usual! How do you manage all the corners and spots under rails etc that the machines can´t reach? By hand??? I´m considering buying a small rotary and a small DA but is that unneccesary (money beeing no issue)? Hard finding a small forced rotation DA though. If you manages with just a rotary with one pad size and one DA I should too. Keep up the good work! Daniel, Sweden
Hi Drake. Thank you very much for all your videos and advice! Quick question from a beginner! I have 44’ sailing yacht. How much wax do I need to buy? What approximate coverage should I expect from e.g. 16oz bottle of wax in square meters or feet? I do not want to under-prepare. Thank you very much Magdalena
Hey bro! I personally feel like you’ll definitely run out of the 16 oz bottle on 44 footer. I’d get a 32oz bottle of whatever product you plan to buy if they offer it in that size. Try out Jescar power lock! I sell it right here on my site, and we carry a 32 oz bottle. It’s currently out of stock but will be back in very soon 😎www.detailusupply.com/products/jescar-power-lock-polymer-paint-sealant
After watching one of your videos I purchased a griots machine based on your suggestion. Will this machine work for all the steps listed in this particular video?
It may not cut enough, depending on what type of gelcoat you have. You will either need a forced rotation or a rotary in combination with your DA polisher in order to achieve this.
If the boat is not Waxter buffed, just some blue, Dawn and the scrub brush, if the boat is waxed, and has a nice shine on it, and you don’t want to ruin the wax, I would use some punch it from shine supply to get rid of the black streaks and leave a nice shine behind it.
I just put new graphics on my boat, do you recommend any certain product to protect the graphics and keep them from shrinking/peeling/cracking? Thanks!
NICE job as always!! Couple questions… In your other videos I’ve noticed you went from 1000 grit sanding straight to heavy cut compound, What made you add the 2000 grit sanding this time? Also what is the best work light do u recommend for seeing swirls/scratches/holograms?
Hey bro! The 2000 really helps richen that nice gloss when you go to buff with your extra heavy compound, and it also helps get it even more micro scratches. For light scratches I personally believe Shane supply chop top is to go to a link it for you down here at the bottom! www.detailusupply.com/products/shine-supply-chop-top-32oz?_pos=1&_psq=chop+top&_ss=e&_v=1.0
Hi Drake, really impressed with the professionalism of your videos. You can totally tell you have put in the work both in the detailing and media side of the business. 🤩This boat is a stunner now! I am curious how you handle heavy mold and/or stains in the caulking when you encounter it. I tried searching your channel for "mold" and "caulk" but came up empty. Any help you can provide on this would be hugely appreciated.
Awesome job, i did a full restoration on my boat using your techniques but i noticed after my starke level r application theres a slight haze only seen with a light at night that i can disturb by just rubbing the gel coat. My question is when i move to my foam medium will that remove the haze (again which is not noticeable in the sun) or should i do something prior to my medium/polish? Thanks
Hey there! I would definitely do a medium cut after your heavy, such as shine supply chop top (linked below) with your foam-wool blend pad and it should take away any imperfections left over that the heavy cut didn’t work out. However, if your heavy cut compound is not getting all the oxidation out, you may need to wet sand, then re-buff with the heavy compound, then medium, then and light compound/polish and seal.
Yeah i did those steps starting with 800 working to 2000 grit. The shine was there even before a medium cut but its like therse just a little residue left from the heavy that my micro fiber, post heavy wipe down didnt remove. Thanks for the response
What’s up Drake been watching your videos for a while now and they have help incredibly. I have a an important question? Let’s someone wants a paint correction or detailed wash for 30 ft boat. Do you give them the price for over 30 ft or under 30 ft
Hey bro! Typically for a detailed wash I charge $15 per foot. If it’s oxidation removal/ full detail I charge $15 per foot, per step. Hope this helps! Also, here’s two RUclips video’s I did on pricing and quoting that should help! m.ruclips.net/video/oU8yRzaBVkM/видео.html m.ruclips.net/video/0WN0CQkEljo/видео.html
Yoooo! I usually dry sand with a disc dual action harbor freight tool. I have a question. I’ll wet sand all the areas I need to do by hand, but when disc sanding is it okay to do it dry ? If so do you have a video based on sanding gel?
Burn out is more for light correction, oxidation removal and polishing, and wake up is more for rejuvenating the amazing detail/buff job that has already been done.
Hey man I know a DA buffer isn't ideal for cutting oxidation but I recently picked up a Chemical Guys DA buffer and some pads. I have an 09 Gheenoe and it's in need of compound to remove oxidation. I really don't want to buy a rotary buffer if I don't need to. I know it's a gheenoe and will only shine so much but will my buffer and some elbow grease give it a decent shine? Or am I wasting time? Thanks for the info!
Hey bro! I’d your boat had any level of oxidation, then you need a rotary buffer to cut it out of the gelcoat. Then, you can sue your DA to polish and remove swirl marks

Roughly $100 a ft foot. So if you have a 23ft boat it would be $2,300
Hi Drake, Love your videos. I'm sure you are asked this question a lot but, how long after you apply the ceramic do you knock it down? Is there a certain feel I'm with the microfiber towels I'm looking for?

Thinking about tackling my SeaRay 268. It has a lot of oxidation. Would a regular orbital sander work for the 1000 & 2000 grit passes?
I’d personally use a DA polisher for sanding. Not as aggressive.
Hello Drake.
When you wetsand a boat, do you whash tour boat before starting compound ?
Thanks
Yes, I would
So, after the BeadLock you say a year plus protection. What happens then, same process all over again?
Yes, after a year you can just wash, re polish with shine supply wake up then add an additional coat of ceramic or just top it off with punch it
I hope I canale mine white half as nice as you did. Im trying your mehods for the first time.
Nice!! You got this man! 🔥👍🏻💪

Impressive !
Thanks! 😎🔥
Love your videos and might do your training course at some point in the future! One quick question, for anything from an extreme restoration to just simple detailing, what’s the difference in the process for gel coat or a painted hull
Hey bro! The process looks a lot similar! sometimes you just can’t go as hard because paint isn’t always as thick as gelcoat.
That would be cool! 😎🔥 Thanks for watching!

Awesome @Drake, how long did it took you to finish it?
Hey bro! This was about a two day job.
Thank you.
Hey bro! Just use separate pads for each color of on the boat.
Also another question, is you dad the one that screamed in a movie “ THIS IS SPARTA “. 😂😂😂😂
Nice job
Thanks !!! 💯💯💯
I know you said it's a single coat application and that would last 18-24 months, but would a second coat add to that longevity?
Yes it sure would! I always try to sell them on two coats
Awesome video brother !!! Keep up the amazing content
How many hours and how much would something like that cost on that size boat? I have one very similar it’s 18 foot fast track regal I think you’re in my area I’d like to get it ready before summer time.
Or if you have a phone number, I can call that would be great too
Thanks! 😊
Beautiful job
Thank you! 😊
I only have rotary polisher and the boat I have is white with medium oxidation. If I did menzerna 400 on white wool pad then on yellow wool pad do u think that would cut enough and leave a nice finish?
Also love ur videos.
That should be adequate, however each gelcoat responds very differently. If it does not turn out how you’d like it to, you may need to cut heavier.
Hey Bro, beautiful work; luv your videos! How much force are you applying with the Mile/orange pad with Wake Up? Any difference from the old flex? Thanks man!
Hey bro! I love the Rupes Millie! I apply a a decent amount of pressure!
Amazing work, as usual!
Do you think that you would be able to do the same work without wet sanding? Would you get the same result if you do 3-4 steps of heavy compound instead of wet sanding? If yes I suppose it won't last the same time and oxidation will be back sooner
Hey bro! This level of gloss could not be achieved by just buffing. Wet sanding would cut down the layers of oxidized and scratched gelcoat more.
Thanks for the tip ;)
Love all the videos, so much insight and opportunity to try something new after ive watched it.
A question i have (recently started a detailing business with friends)
How much in materials would you expect to use on a 40’ yacht, hullsides only. Sundancer 290
They think im a little nutty, but i went through a double sided pad, 1 quart of heavy 3M and then much less 3M finesse it and single yellow pad. Is this crazy?
We worked out heavy water spots which needed some 1500 dry sand otherwise cleaning them and working out with heavy cut.
Thanks, keep up the great work!
Hey bro! Depending on how oxidized the surfaces are- I’d say you could probably get away with a 32oz bottle of each product you intend to use.
Can you send a pic of those pin holes to my instagram @drakes.detailing?
Wasn't it too cold for a ceramic coating? Excuse my English. Great Job! Greetings from Germany/Berlin.
Nope, it was only about 60 degrees or so. As long as it’s not colder than 45 degrees you are good to
Great job! Can you put the ceramic coating on (diamond pattern) non skid on the outside decks, or will it be too slippery?
Hey! Yes it is definitely good idea to have both, they both achieve different things. Yes, you can use the Maxshine for wet sanding
That is awesome! So glad it could help!
Stunning out come as always Drake !! Nice work
I have a question on pricing I have watched all your videos on Pricing.
Cheers
Andy
I’d do $15 per step in the work you need to do above the bow rail and and $15 per foot per how many steps you need to do below the bow rail
Meant to ask you, what budget buffer and polisher do you recommend? Would an all in one work or no?
For a rotary, I really like the Maxshine rotary buffer, for a forced rotation I love the Rupes Millie, and for a DA polisher the Maxshine M8S. For the Maxshine products, when you check out feel free to use the discount code DRAKE15 😎
@@DrakesDetailing what's the difference between the Rupes Millie and Maxshine M8S, is one used for wetsanding and the other for waxing?
Drake,
My boat has a dark blue bottom that is paint and a teal stripe, the top is white. I wet sanded the dark blue section separate from white as colors mix, when buffing should do id the same this do the dark blue them come back and do the white ?
Yes, that procedure should work just fine!
Great video.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great video…. Do you still offer trainings on detailing?
Yes we do, we can do a week of hands on for around 3k.
Really torn on the flex polisher or Rupes any and opinions please.
Go with the Rupes!
Do you have a bucket kit with everything a boat owner needs to keep their boat top notch? In one of your old videos I saw a kit you used to suggest but since you don’t rep that company anymore can u share a list/links for what your using now?
www.detailusupply.com/products/boat-maintenance-kit-shine-supply
Here you go bro! Here’s our most popular detail/ maintenance kit. It does not come with a bucket but it’s still well worth it. It’s currently out of stock but we should have form more coming in very soon!
Do you let the SiO2 polish cure fully before hand washing ? A minimum of 24 hours? Or are you force curing?
There’s no need to let it sit for 24 hours, as soon as I’m done wiping it away it’s good to apply the sealant
@@DrakesDetailing nice response time man.
How does someone contact you for detailing?
Awesome job !
Thanks!
Yes, by hand and/or if you have the means for a mini machine I’d highly recommend picking one up. I like the Rupes long neck Nano polisher.
how many hours for the malibu? hope you weren't too sore the next day!
About 16 hours total
awesome job😯👍👍👍👍👍
😎🔥🔥
Nicely done! Man, I’m getting a great gloss build up out of each step but when I go to use the orange force pad it dulls my finish! Any thoughts?
What machine, speed and polish are you using and what color is your boat ?

Thanks for replying Drake!
You will either need a forced rotation or a rotary in combination with your DA polisher in order to achieve this.
what do you use for black streaks??
If the boat is not Waxter buffed, just some blue, Dawn and the scrub brush, if the boat is waxed, and has a nice shine on it, and you don’t want to ruin the wax, I would use some punch it from shine supply to get rid of the black streaks and leave a nice shine behind it.
I just put new graphics on my boat, do you recommend any certain product to protect the graphics and keep them from shrinking/peeling/cracking?
Thanks!
Absolutely! Just keep the boat sealed with a polymer sealer, and make sure you use the polymer sealer over all the decals as well 😎
NICE job as always!!
Couple questions…
In your other videos I’ve noticed you went from 1000 grit sanding straight to heavy cut compound,
What made you add the 2000 grit sanding this time?
Also what is the best work light do u recommend for seeing swirls/scratches/holograms?
Hey bro! The 2000 really helps richen that nice gloss when you go to buff with your extra heavy compound, and it also helps get it even more micro scratches. For light scratches I personally believe Shane supply chop top is to go to a link it for you down here at the bottom!
www.detailusupply.com/products/shine-supply-chop-top-32oz?_pos=1&_psq=chop+top&_ss=e&_v=1.0
Do you use the beadlock pro on metal bars / trim? Or is it strictly for gel coat?
It can go on all surfaces, but works best on gel coat and paint
Hi Drake, really impressed with the professionalism of your videos. You can totally tell you have put in the work both in the detailing and media side of the business. 🤩This boat is a stunner now! I am curious how you handle heavy mold and/or stains in the caulking when you encounter it. I tried searching your channel for "mold" and "caulk" but came up empty. Any help you can provide on this would be hugely appreciated.
Glad you like the videos!! For mold in caulk, try some purple power with a magic eraser 😎
@Drake's Detailing I will give that a shot, thanks for taking the time to reply Drake! Regards...
Would you use the ceramic coating on non skid on the interior?
For sure! It’s the best option possible
How is the ceramic coating going to bond to the surface if there is already a coating on it from the wake up?
He washed it after doing the wake-up, so essentialy thewake-upp was just used as a polish.
It’s all silica. The si02 fills in the pours of the gel coat, And the ceramic seals it up.
It’s more like a primer for the coating.
Also, here’s two RUclips video’s I did on pricing and quoting that should help! m.ruclips.net/video/oU8yRzaBVkM/видео.html
m.ruclips.net/video/0WN0CQkEljo/видео.html
Yoooo! I usually dry sand with a disc dual action harbor freight tool. I have a question. I’ll wet sand all the areas I need to do by hand, but when disc sanding is it okay to do it dry ? If so do you have a video based on sanding gel?
Here’s a full video I did on how to properly sand a boat. m.ruclips.net/video/Woos7JTcX6w/видео.html
Wet sanding is just easier because it will save your sand paper from getting clogged so quickly, which can get annoying and expensive very quickly!
When do you choose burn out over wake up ? Thanks !
Burn out is more for light correction, oxidation removal and polishing, and wake up is more for rejuvenating the amazing detail/buff job that has already been done.
Hey Drake, how many Abralon discs would you usually use on a boat that size?
For this project, I will plan on using at least five or six.
Drake. If you wet sand a bigger boat how long can it sit before compounding? Can you sand one day then compound the next?
Sure you can.
Absolutely!
Great Video like always! I have 1 Question? What do you consider ( a pass ) before changing your rotatary speed?
Up, down, left and right until the compound diminishes completely. That cycle is considered “one pass”.
If your boat is not that oxidized do you still recommend cutting it before waxing it?
I personally always do a step before just waxing it, it almost always needs one- weather it would be a compound or just light polish
@@DrakesDetailing Thank you.
Is the sander rated for use with water? Makes me nervous watching you sand it with water dripping over the machine.
Yes, as long as you don’t submerge or soak it
do you have to replace the wool pads after every use or can you wash them?
I wash them and definitely get a couple of usages out of them! m.ruclips.net/video/aGqCp0EijBY/видео.html
Here’s a video I did while back
How many hours does a exterior detail like this take? Looks beautiful!
