I went to a Crüe concert last year and they were great! To be fair idk if Vince was lip syncing, and I rather not for peace of mind.

Vince has lost A LOT of weight and took lessons. He's still not doing great with singing but he's a little better.

I'm pulling for them because I want to like them again. lol I absolutely love John 5 and Mick, but John hasn't integrated into the band sound wise... he's just so good it really stands out that he has a way better sound.

Decade of Decadence was actually around 1991. It was pre-Vince’s split, and pre-John Corabi. That’s where Primal Scream came from.
I think that's a good tune - which is usually the kiss of death for a band. 😂 I think the d minor to f minor change in the chorus gives it a really interesting sound. The verses have a moody, ominous creep, and the Metallica like riffs are pummeling. Plus, there's a lot of great production ear candy. It's a 7.5 out of 10 for me.
I love the video and song!! Fun video! Vince to be fair has lost weight and worked on pacing and breathing and improved. This like another Primal scream type song of them showing defiance and standing up to those taking shots at them. Us against the bastards of the world and not letting it get you down....eerie verses and slamming pre chorus!

I've seen them once on stage in the early nineties and the concert was fun - they rocked and especially Tommy Lee who did a great drum solo. The kit was on a platform that lifted Tommy and the drums and nearly flipped him over, so you could see the drums from above. He was strapped in safety belts and had as much fun as we had, maybe even more. At the climax of this solo, in near vertical position, he opened a beer and cheered to us! Great evening! It has been 30 years ago and I don't remember much more but the Tommy Lee stunt drumming 😍

Mötley Crue is the only band who is on my "top list" as well as on my "shit list".
They on my top list for releasing "Mötley Crue" in 1994 with John Corabi and on my shit list for releasing "Generation Swine" in 1997.
I totally agree man. I both love them and hate them.
You'll probably disagree with me on this point, but for me, Motley Crue is like 1989 CC. DeVille. I loved him so much, but at the same time, he was a damn clown on stage, preening and mugging for the camera, and he destroyed the band. The Crue was so badass in the 80s that I'll never not like them, but they've kind of become a parody of themselves. Same thing happened with KISS.

It sounds a bit slow. The tune itself is fine and John 5 does great. Video’s fun, even if the ending is predictable. But, it seems like the beat should be just a bit faster. Of course fast songs make vocal transitions harder.

I think that's key, which is also something that's hard for Vince. The vocals almost seem written with his....style.... in mind.

I love your review! I am a die hard Crue fan until the screwed Mick...... I love the eater eggs in this video, I wish someone would do a video about that. As much as I want to hate %, he is actually pretty good. I refused to be a fan and buy music when the didn't have Tommy. I refused to be a fan and buy music when they didn't have Vince. So here we are without Mick and they literally completely screwed him. S there is that. I would never say to someone that never heard MC before to listen to this as an introduction. i am amused by the video but I'm not going to blast this in the car. And then there is Vince, you nailed it!!!! He is the drunk uncle! I have seen them in every single concert. The "last concert ever tour" I saw them 6 times. Vince just ca not do it anymore. Thank God the audiance sings the majority for him. But the shows are so great that its worth it. I met them all. They were so awesome. Vince was petty much a wax figure. No personality nothing. DO AN EASTER EGG VIDEO PLEASE!!!!

I actually want to do Dr. Feelgood like that at a karaoke bar, but I haven't gotten drunk enough to be brave enough to do it like that for the entire song.

Sounds like a cross between a Generation Swine cutting room floor song and Godsmack's I Stand Alone main riff. Tommy lost his groove, Vince sounds good via the pro tools, Bob Rock lost his mojo on the production and Nikki still has not figured out how to write a good song since 1994.
