I seem to be remember this song being somewhat widely panned at the time. Maybe I just wasn’t that into it. But I think it’s aged well. The 80s vibe is fun though. The saxophone dude with the mullet. The second drummer. Those girls are so on point. Just my take.
Roger Waters left the band in 1985, so the other 3 went on to make 3 more studio albums and I don't know how many live albums. You know Gilmour, but the others are Nick Mason-Drums and Rick Wright-Keyboards in this video. The rest are all hired musicians. This is from their Delicate Sound of Thunder tour, which is also a fantastic live album. BTW, if you're not a huge fan like I am, don't fall into the PF rabbit hole, it's full of mis-information including Wiki.
If David Gilmour had left PF instead of Waters then Pink Floyd would have ended on that day.
Oh, man! I remember this video. It actually made MTV's top 10 most requested. Such a good song.
The Final Cut was the final Floyd album with Waters on and it was pretty much a solo Waters album . He was kind of in complete control by that point .
A Momentary Lapse of Reason Tour (1987-1989) was Kick Ass concerts...
Was at October 1987 @MSG NYC Concert
The final cut , is the last with Waters. And this Momentary lapse of reason is the first without him

Is the sax guy the guy from lost boys can't tell with his shirt on lol
I think there live shows were designed to enhance the "experience" the crowd was having... WTF, where the hell was I!!!

It's actually the other way around. Wright is the keyboarder and Mason the drummer ;-)

The darkest song they ever did and I loved it
