Australia kept on dominating against england on second days. What a magnificent hundred from Travis Head. A hugely important knock considering the context of the series and his career.
Head basically stunned English bowlers no one was expecting such an all attack approach by Travis.
I saw the same Travis Head in 2018 Christmas Eve when he did a miraculous chase for Adelaide Strikers.
Scored some 51 runs in last 3 overs.
I don't see what the fuss about 50 in 3 overs is... Bradman managed 100 in the same number of overs (but even he only did it ONCE).
That no-ball wicket of warner could have changed the game, so early too. Moments in cricket play such a big difference in the scale of things, that's why I love this game!! Missing playing some cricket with my boys.
Labuschange, Warner and Head did amazing alone Labuschange and Warner did more then England but travis head was the icing on top. Great game to watch, and great batting by the aussies. LETS GO AUSSIE

Loved Head's innings and equivalently I think the way Labuschagne constructed his innings, especially since it was the hardest period of the match, was really impressive. Him leaving so well and playing off England's best options (Robinson and Wood) let Head and others cash in a little when Root, Stokes and Leach were bowling.

his approach was totally wrong as he was charging and looking to play more shots than usual against jack leach because Australia were 180-2 but that was wrong approach as he almost played two aggressive fault shots so early in his innings against him and also now Smith won't get to bat in the 2nd innings

Carey was looking really good. Even though his score wasn’t great, he was part of a crucial partnership with Head. They both played aggressively and took on the bowlers. Carey got out and Head went on for a century, but they helped each other through a super difficult time in the match.
Carey got out to a simple short ball it was miserable for him to get out when he was required to score runs and he was not aggressive.
You sort of contradict yourself. He got out playing the short ball BECAUSE he was trying to be aggressive. I never said he got out to a good ball, (imo he got himself out), but that doesn’t make his role in steadying the ship with Head any less crucial. Cummins and Starc also played a part in building important little partnerships

Also you can say bowling Leach for 11 overs after it was clear after 4-5 that he was being targeted and has an economy of 8.5 was a blunder.
