It's like the brain is always ready to take charge after the heart is shattered. The strategic planning that a lot of the people in these stories make are insane and sad but heart thrilling cz like they get this feeling of satisfaction
Exactly! When the empathy is kind of put on the back burner, that’s when the conniving comes in. It’s bloody freaky, but it makes sense. When the rose tinted glasses are shattered, one would want to stab with the shards. (Not a literal metaphor for violence, obvs, though violence is possible)

The brain is a strange contraption. At one point it the brain gives the heart the initiative to take the rains on how to fly the plane.
Once the heart is shut off the brain is wants revenge. It’s very scary to think of.

The story with the rent was amazing. The father was amazing and even in divorce cared for his wife. Tbh he probably only divorced her so the debts would not take over the daughters and his life so amazing mother aswell

For instance, if this was in the US, Medicaid has strict financial guidelines, even though it varies state by state. This can also include in home services, nursing homes, etc. It's a good possibility that they got divorce so she could get the assistance she needs.

About the sister in the 2nd story I totally feel for her. As someone who had had the same experience growing up the feeling of someone doing bad things to you while you're supposed to be the "smart" one in the family even as a child and expected to know better felt like being paralyzed while watching your body being torn apart. It makes me uncomfortable just typing this out. The sister probably never told because she was a good kid who saw her parents suffering and didn't want to be another burden to them so she put up with it.
When I was a kid I felt ashamed, and when I was a teenager all throughout the early stages of adulthood I tried to play it out as no big deal while indeed struggled with self esteem issues so I totally understand why the sister turned to drugs. It had been so tempting to just numb out the pain. There were times I found my thoughts wandering towards the big bottle of cleaning products we kept in the bathroom. So I am VERY sorry for your and your dad's loss, OP and I am VERY sorry for your sister. She deserved so much better and she was lucky she had you, your dad and your mom in her life.
I feel the same way, but we just have to push through. I just hold myself up by promising myself that I’ll be on my own some day and I won’t have to put up with this anymore. I can’t wait.
@@lostinafieldofflowers My thoughts and prayers to you. Hang in there. As soon as I could I got a job and took up a room with some mates. Sure they turned out to be douches but at least I got out of there. It took a while and a LOT of hard work I managed to crawl myself out of the bottom of the barrel. And now I have bare minimum contact with my family and living alone and content with 3 dogs.

Both stories NTA/J. Neither of them got enough revenge either. Story one: Woman steals and destroys innocent man's life. Story 2: Selfish aunt caused the suffering of her already sick sister and indirectly caused the death of her niece by putting her sisters family into financial trouble which meant they couldn't win a lawsuit, ending in H addiction and death.
I don't agree with story 1. That's pure malice already. What's the diffence between him and that women? It just like a villian creates another villian. He even didnt let go of her after few years. It takes courage to contact someone after you do them wrong or mistake. Maybe she wants to admits her mistake and be forgiven. She already had a child and maybe want to move on too. He maybe think what he do is justice but he forever be a villian to that women child. This can create a never ending revenge. Afterall, since the begining to the story to the end, he NEVER really talk face to face with her. Only hear what others told him. He is a JERK.
