If you compare those to 2, FCPX is the champ when it comes to speed and editing no doubt about that, but it's also at a higher cost. Resolve 16 is great and it makes it easer for me to teach on a platform that supported on both PC & Mac
Finally "my language" thanks for this video, it helped me a lot, in my second day having drone :) thumbs up, subsribbed, looking forward to watch more.

Henrik, please help a newbie like me with an alternative to davinci resolve 16. Resolve looks stunning, but my laptop seems too old as Resolve crashes all the time... Wha tcould be a good alternative? Looking for simple & intuitive and free editor with color grade options. på forhånd tak :)
Hey, great video and thanks for sharing. I once downloaded Resolve but I was a bit put off as the footage was laggy when I played it back. This was before exporting though. Do you know if you can render the footage whilst you're editing so it plays back smooth like you can in Premiere?

That’s a fantastic tutorial and thank you for sharing. I’m currently using iMovie and Davinci would be by next step. I’m running a 2019 MacBook with no issues at all with iMovie. I downloaded Davinci to give it a try. Unfortunately Davinci doesn’t recognise any of my DJI 4K flies when I try to import them ? I’ve tried importing via the import tab and I’ve also tried clicking and dragging however it just won’t accept the files ? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated👍

so this looks easy enough HOWEVER (and the official Da Vinci Manual doesnt explain this either) your Da Vinci screen layout looks and acts nothing like mine does ... The pre-amble to this could have done a 'set up' of the environment to then begin to edit the footage from .... you click on things that just are not visible in my layout (and I am not new to Video Editing) but due to the complexity abd customisability of DaVinci its v v difficult to get our screen looking like yours .... might be worth covering that in a short video..
I tried to download the program above but my imac which I paid $3.5k for now says it cannot support it. I went onto the apple website only to be told my computer is too OLD.... I thought it was still as good as new but it’s 2009. God time flies. I need an update. Lol 🧐
TECH DRONE MEDIA I will have to check when I get back home I away for my sons tennis but it’s before the Sierra. I hardly ever did the updates as it has never caused me any drama. Then when I brought the drone I tried firstly to update, then download iMovie as it’s not on there, then I moved onto trying to get Adobe premier pro all with no luck referring to updating issues. When your post came up I thought I may be lucky but unfortunately not. It’s a late 2009 model and is referred to as Vintage with Apple. Lol. If it wasn’t an apple it would probably stopped working by now and I would have been forced to upgrade Lol.
hi. i just got the air 2 s. i use shotcut but the 5.4k h.265 wont play very well on there. will davinci resole play back better. i have a i9-9900k 2080 super pc. thank you.

youtube 4k preset seems like to compress video too much, so I am trying to render using H.265 master.

It's properly because they are h.265
I think you’re right and I thank you for the info, is there a way to easily convert .265 to .264 on a Mac ?

The strange part is I did nothing to change it apart from maybe disable a few views to make it less cluttered

I would not know, but DaVinci allow you to make proxy clip that is way easier for computer

Yeah the software is free but a PC that will run it will break ya. I was all excited about it until I read the PC requirements 😲🙄
