- Hey guys, there is an inaccuracy in the video. Most of the welding was done by a local guy and not by Walter. I got it wrong ooops but local welders are cheap in the Philippines. They were paid just over the local wage.

I've seen one of these aluminum catamarans before on another RUclips sailing channel. Yes, these boats are supper affordable and strong. I think you should sail over to that part of the world and help build yourself one.

Knew Walter and A quite well when they were here in the Philippines building their boat. Good to see that they are out and about, enjoying life afloat. Walter and A were previously quite experienced sailors. Their boat is a Cyber / Mumby 48. Great boat designed by Tim Mumby and one of your countrymen. Tim and Jess, his wife, should be back in the Philippines any day now with his new boat.

Fantastic people! We met those guys in Hampton, Virginia over a year ago. I'm not one to get lusty over another mans boat but that one got me drooling. The speed! As now I'm doing it again!

This boat reminds me of Sailing Jupiter. Beautiful job. I went to Elora Hardy's majical bamboo house, and learned a lot about this fast growing grass. When you build an aluminum boat you have to go inside, and build the interior with wood, or other paneling. Aluminum has 30,000 psi tensil strength, and bamboo has 28,000 psi tensil strength. When you compare the difference in weight. An aluminum cubic foot would take over 4.2 million pounds to rip it apart, and it weighs 166pounds. Eight blocks of bamboo the same size each as the one block of aluminum takes over 32 million pounds to rip it apart, and they weigh 160 pounds all together. Bamboo weighs 20 pounds a cubic foot, and with the wood you don't have to build a separate interior.

A lot of people would give up if they couldn’t do it in their perfect boat. They are not true sailors or adventurers. But Plukky despite your setbacks you push on and find another way to do it because you are a true explorer and not driven by vanity. Don’t under-estimate the impression you make on the world by being the person you are. Today my compliments are all towards your. Lisa is great but today you deserve the applause.

I think that Plucky will have to change some of his ways / attitudes if he is to have a long term future with Lisa. This is not Plucky's challenge but for Lisa to figure out how to do it. If anyone can succeed at this momentous task, she can.
Lisa can do most anything judging from what I've seen.

Lisa's input to this one might have been small but it was hilarious. First when she was pointing out how much Plucky would have liked a boat like the catamaran and secondly when she was trying not to laugh at Plukky saying she laughed at his jokes :-)!

The guy with the beautiful Catamaran looks at your hunting skills and remembers how skilled he was when he was young. Or maybe it’s me projecting myself into what he would think. I used to seek the most difficult game birds to shoot because I wanted it to be as difficult as possible. Enjoy your skills, perhaps someday you will be able to pass them on to another person.
I think Lisa is a bit of a tease. Since she is the editor of these videos, the "I'm in love" bit was on her, and the way she smiles she has a dry sense of humour. So i think this is her joking about, and teasing.
on the other hand I'm liking the quality of the editing. top work.

Hey Peter, Rosie and I have been stuck into one of your episodes where everything breaks down. We have been fighting suspension problems on our fifth wheel and are currently stuck in Shawnee Oklahoma. We are working our way to Yuma, Az where some music buddies are waiting. Maybe while waiting around I can write another song like Sailing to Freedom or 66 Mustang. Carry on and great episode!
Born a raised okie here. Well I don’t know where you’re from but I guess there are worse places to break down than Shawnee, Oklahoma. Plenty of Indian casinos if that’s your thing, a half decent Museum of Art and if I remember correctly I think there’s even an Egyptian mummy there. Big enough for a decent selection of dining options. Santa Fe depot is interesting. Safe travels!

I had a good friend from Henryetta many years ago while stationed at Fort Benning. Like you say there are worst places to be broke down. Some friends also had come to our Glass factory from Oklahoma. @@burlingtonbill4687 I used to work at Quad Graphics here in OKC. A lot of Wisconsinites relocated here to open/run it in the beginning. Some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. My time there was short but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I’ve never worked for a company that put so much time and money into celebrating Christmas especially for the children of the employees. The Quadracci’s would literally shut down a part of the plant to transform it into a kiddie playhouse of fun and every child got a really nice wrapped Christmas present. What a neat family with a great history. “Come on baby won’t you sail with me”. Love that tune!! Thanks Burlington Bill!
