Fun fact: The Automatico 1918 is actually made from half a Villar Perosa (The submachinegun used by the variant of the sentry class). The Villar Perosa was made as a dual mounted gun for aircraft gunners, but then when there were more suitable guns for mounting in aircrafts, these were re-adapted for infantry. Some of them were mounted as they were in tripods or even in bikes, and then Beretta had the idea of cutting both individual guns and putting a stock and handle to them.

Just realised I wasn't subscribed to Matimi0 and I've been watching him for quite a long time.
nice to see that this game is more open. When I played BF4 vanilla on PS4 it was mainly closed maps with bunch of grenade spam. It was like this: 9:18 24/7 Or the complete opposite with giant open areas but vehicles ruled, so infantry was ineffective. This game seems more balanced maybe.

You should try the Gewehr 98 infantry with the radium sights sometime. Oddly enough, it is an awesome counter-sniper weapon once you get used to the sights, since they can't see a scope glint on you. I really loved it once I got it dialed in.
One I really wished that the this level of weather dynamics was present in bf4 cuz then it would really take advantage of the lesser used accessories

The 1906 needs to be a consistent 2 shot kill for it to even be usable, I worked my ass off to get to 10 on medic, yet the selbstlader m1916 is better in every way
if they gave the gun an extra 5 rounds it would be a good gun or made it deal 50 damage a shot, wouldn't be historically accurate with the extra rounds and may be op with the damage upgrade but this gun currently serves no purpose other than look what i have

The 1906 and Auto 8 are both skill cannons, they have ridiculous TTK's with the magazine size to match.
The game just oozes so much more authenticity than the more modern contexts available.This is why I still think of the best moments I had in BF 1942.

So does anyone have any ideas on how to balance the 1906? I figure they should keep the magazine at 5 but just up the damage and bullet velocity, make it a marksman rifle.

For Sunday Mailbox: Hey Mat, do you think that DICE should create a different style of icon for the sentry when spotted than it is now? I find a lot of the time I accidentally shoot at a sentry thinking it is a sniper, because the icons do look quite similar from a distance. As you are no doubt aware, shooting at a sentry is essentially suicide, so in my opinion a new more unique icon is needed. What are your thoughts? I know it's a small small issue, but it happens a LOT and I find it really frustrating and needless.
