Honduras is amazing and isn't dangerous if you can afford to live in the wealthy parts, witch is sad, it should be fun for everyone. im not saying this isn't beautiful everywhere
:') I got very nostalgic watching this video. You showed a lot of the parts I used to walk when I was little and it brought back so many memories. Thank you for sharing this video!P.S the guy in the back of those coins is the Cacique Lempira! He is a very important part of Honduras' history. He fought with the Spanish conquistadors that were invading the land.
You made me tear up! Going there tomorrow unfortunately to bury my mother but I’m excited to see the rest of my family and enjoy the warm sun! Its 28 degrees here in Massachusetts so i cannot wait! Thank you 🙏🏽.
Just stay out of the barrios if you're that worried. Havent been there so I cant speak on the nuances of life for Hondurans, but I did grow up in an inner city in the US. Lots of violence and drugs, but if you keep to yourself and treat people with dignity and respect, you wont have any problems.

Awesome vlog in my city, if you visita again Tegucigalpa will be my pleasure to take you to some awesome places. I have a RUclips channel too, let me say that you were so brave to film in some Hot spots in TGU, really awesome man
Nice video!! I live in Honduras!! The only thing I didn’t like is that you exaggerated the violence. I think if you are going to do a review you should see the beauty and the nice things from that country. And if you go back again sometime you should go to the nicer places because you just went to el Centro and that is not one of the nicest places in our Country. You should have gone to the city!! I liked this blog!! Thanks for going to a country which people don’t really want to go because they’ve heard on the news a lot of bad things from it, but they don’t know the culture, gastronomy, agriculture, etc. Thank you!! ❤️
haha!! when we visited we asked the same thing, why so many armed guards "military", well guess what they are not just military personnel they are also the police. Because there aren't many assigned police officers their military has to also step in and help with regulating and maintaining the peace... in other words help the police, hence the military men with big machine guns, but they said that their police also carry heavy machinery. While there, we never experience any crime, or even saw gangs, there were panhandlers that's for sure, but hell we see that in every touristic areas or country even in the US. No one bothered us, we didn't get robbed nor harassed it was a nice trip, people were kind and giving. We were told that you wont see many gangs or thieves in the touristic areas, mainly so because of the heavy guards around, but also to point out apparently some type of Executive Branch "Presidential Palace" is located in downtown Tegucigalpa (near that Cathedral) and that is one of the other reasons you see lots of military, they are there or close by to guard it. People may think that the military is there to keep gangs and thieves away but I think they are truly there to keep the tourist safe and the Executive office that is near by... I guess the gangs and thieves don't dare cross their military, the military has zero tolerance for shenanigans, they will shoot you on the spot... so as long as you are having a good time, not starting fights or causing trouble and being respectful they are cool with you, and will make sure you are safe. Everyone we spoke too said the same thing, they said that the news about them being the highest capital murder isn't true, but then again we also learned that they don't count gang related murders as murders, they instead are happy for those deaths, they don't consider that murder they thinks it's justice, apparently it's not innocent people that are being killed but the news make it sound like it is. In America murder is murder whether you deserved to die or if it was a lifestyle choice, here we are all about justice for the criminals they deserve a fair trial, over-there not so much, they celebrate... another criminal off the street... ohh and that mainly happens in the barrios.. you know your Compton, Englewood, Hell's Kitchen areas.... area's that no tourist would ever go too.... you know those areas like anywhere in the world, because those areas exist everywhere areas where we residents wont even go too. Anyways we had an amazing time, it was beautiful.
I was never afraid to walk around Bogota or San Salvador, I'm not sure why I have been scared to go here. As far as Honduras I've only been to Roatan. The funny thing in Roatan is I rented a car and one of the local woman was trying to make me her boyfriend, she kept wanting me to drive her around everywhere.
And that's weird. I was scared in Bogotá, and I was living in Estrato 6. Fear comes from the fact that, in Bogotá, all the venezuelan immigrants and guerrilla make every corner dangerous, which is not the case in Honduras. Tegucigalpa is safe because its criminal activity is organized. Yes, dowtown has pickpocketers and drug addicts, but you won't get killed by a bomb car while trying to get a coffee.
You did an amazing job , but I was a little nervous watching the video when you were recording on the bus, people watch it very strange because someone can steal the cell phone. Honduras is a wonderful country. Thank you for the video I hope you enjoyed a lot .
Awesome job! Thank you for making this video. I loved how you got into the buses and streets without having to worry about gangs and all of that stuff. You did a great job and I guess you are from Europe? Germany? I am going to Honduras soon and starting my RUclips channel. Great job and I am looking forward to your future videos. Keep it there and nice well done. Best wishes.
Bryan Reyes you need to be careful about recording on the bus or streets , someone can steal your cell phone, camera or whatever you are of value that is not usual to do that on the bus because thieves can get on the bus instantly, just be careful in some streets alone . That is my best advice . On the contrary you can enjoy a lot. Good trip .

You are brave to be walking around with your headphones , you would be a magnet for the sleazy criminals!! You are being polite by saying that it is as developed as Panama City, not even close! ;))
This isn’t a Korean Christian concert by the way. It’s regular Spanish. I would normally say that’s kinda racist but your a visiting honduras so you accidentally said that. By the way I’m Honduran. But glad you had fun.
