Really struggle daily , I’ve been OCD about my hair all my life and when I started losing it , it caused depression and anxiety , it was something I couldn’t control , the finestaride probably didn’t help my depression and the minoxidil didn’t work , I am half Asian and half white and my skin tone is not the greatest, I’ve always wanted to buzz it but I have a tiny head , the voice always stops me , I’m on anti depressants now , I constantly worry and think about the situation , once I buzz the sides I’m fine for a few days but the situation / thoughts always come back , I’m in a dark place

I started balding at the ripe age of 17 years old, I was completely bald like an old man by my 21st birthday, I never had any choice but to start shaving my head senior year of high school and haven’t looked back ever since. I don’t even remember what it’s like having hair at this point, I just tell myself Atleast I got it out of the way and didn’t have to deal with it in my 40s like most people. Can’t even grow a good beard either, AND I have a weird shaped head. I was Definitely dealt the short stick of the gene pool but it never really bothered me much, life goes on. Thanks for this video nice to see other people have dealt with some of the same as me.

I started losing my hair at 21... rocked the “faux hawk” up until last year. I paid so much money getting a haircuts to try and save it and look “presentable “ Then came the comb over and it could not be saved. I finally mustered up the courage last night after watching so many of the stories posted on RUclips and at 28 I finally took it all off.. thank you for reminding me that I was not alone and that it’s not the end of the world.

I don't know if I will ever go bald. My dad still has hair and he's in his late 50's, but that's not the point. I feel comfortable here, all the stress from worrying when or if I will be going bald has completely disappeared since I found this channel. I may, or may never go bald. But in the end I know I have all of you, whether your're bald or not, you are still a beautiful person regardless of looks or hair count. And that's why I love this channel, you're still you no matter what. And helping people understand that they still have a life outside of their hair is something beautiful in of itself. Thank you and continue doing the great work you do, in connecting men around the world and letting them know they aren't alone.

I don’t think I’ll ever go bald either, my grandad is 90 years old and he’s honestly still got most his hair, his hair only started to thin out in his 70s

My grandpa went bald at my age as well, 27 years old, he said it was the true signs of wisdom, he also says "God has made a few perfect heads, the rest, he just covered with hair" I guess I won't look bad going bald, I'll get used to it I guess. Hey Harry I hope you read this; please keep it up! Don’t stop Baldcafe, you are helping so many men going through this. I’m currently experiencing the receding hairline, but I’m still at around a Norwood 2. It’s crazy because my father had a perfect hairline at 55, so I always assumed it would be the same for me as well. I plan on making a video after college, so hopefully you’ll have me on so I can share my perspective and knowledge on getting over hair loss.

I've been watching these videos the past few days trying to give myself the confidence to take the leap, and a few minutes ago I finally did. I had 38 pretty good years of hair and quite a bit left still, but the front was thinning in a way I'd obsess, and I'd obsess over the future. If I can't get used to it a transplant in the future is always an option, but I want to get used to it to be honest. Loving myself again going into 2022 is a must for me and I'm definitely feeling lighter going into this next phase. I appreciate all your videos intended for us balding men to accept our fate and just be confident with what we have. We aren't our hair, something I had to keep reminding myself.

Looks great on him, mostly because he still has a lot of tiny hairs all over his scalp. That's why with a buzz cut he doesn't look like he is balding at all.

I finally bit the bullet and did the same thing last month after struggling for years about my hairline. Took a close razor to my head after buzzing it down and no lie, it feels liberating! I think for a lot of us, we're worried about how we look with no hair and people talking shit about it. I just had my hair shaved, at 62. It’s still hard to adjust after so many decades of a relatively good hairline. Fortunately, I’m trim. So, I would tell any bloke, if you shave your head, never allow yourself to get fat. It’s not a good combo.

Exactly what I did the other night. I noticed how pissed I was and how I felt my confidence lacking because I have a receding hairline along with going thin on top. So out of the blue I was like screw it I'm going to shave it all off. Around 11 PM I did so and was like damn. The next day I really was feeling myself and felt alot cleaner and handsome looking.

You look good man. You don't have to be self-conscious. Sometimes we need to be reminded of that. Be confident in yourself. Personally, I don't even notice when guys are bald or balding. It's a natural occurence that many, many guys experience. Nothing to be ashamed of, my friend!

I've been shaving my head using WHAUL clippers - zero, no guard - for a while now. It's definitely been a confidence builder and feel so much better us going thin on top. Myself, personally noticed what I like to call my crop circle was getting bigger, and bigger... Now its all good
Same here, but today, I used the Phillips one blade for the first time and seriously, I can’t believe it. I never wanted to use a razor so always assumed this was the closest I could get. Clippers at zero are good, but the one blade is a game changer. Next level.

40 and have been losing my hair since my early 30s. It’s getting so thin on top and receding in the front I think I’m just gonna go for it. My crown is pretty much completely bald at this point anyway. I have always been self conscious about what I would look like bald but I just got it cut super short and think it will good fine gone complete lucky.

I feel so grateful. I'm 35 with tons of hair. My hairline is 2 1/2 inches from eyebrow to hairline. I have a super thick ponytail as thick as a 50cent coin. I always had a shaved head from 17-30. And I have a good shaped head. Got tired of the buzz cut then decided to grow it. I know mostly everyman goes bald that's why I grew my hair long to embrace it as long as I can. I'm not bragging I'm just saying I'm grateful and know it must suck ass to lose your hair. Like you once i see the slightest balding I'm shaving it off.

Still a very handsome guy, takes a lot of balls to do that on camera so the world can see you losing what hair you've fought hard to try to keep. He still has a decent amount of coverage on top the shaved look looks good for him. He can always do micropigmentation to thicken the shave look

I embraced the shave at 44 after years of cowardice! Bought a Remington and I wish I had done it YEARS ago. Huge regret.
Actually, I had the same issue, as I still having hair, but it is getting thinner, and more and more.
Since last year, I started using fiber hair, just to cover some of the spots that bothers me...
But this beginning of the year, I was so tired at caring so much of the look, taking time to cover the front of my head, and as the guy said, using minoxidil day and night, it is a pain in the bipppp.... and in the morning you look like nothing, cause your hair is oily, and no hair style has been made.
So one night after a shower, I decided to shave it, and that was the first relief because I told myself that I did it......
Actually, I was scared about people's thoughts, I mean, I was afraid of people's reactions.
The next day, in the morning, I was feeling unconfident, because I was scared of my workmate reactions...... But I end up with nothing, just some people told me that you look good in short hair. In fact, I looked more clean, and more happy after the day passed.
I was feeling sad and unconfident the past year because of the hair thinning, but in fact, that should not bother any of us, and as a sensitive person, I was feeling so unconfident about any bad comment on my hair issue... But in the end, if you can control this issue, and don't think this as a big deal, you will improve your daily life.
I still have hair in the head, but for now, I decided to let it short (1-2milli), and let see how it goes......
Plus, one more thing, I can't grow a beard, so I was feeling so unconfident because I always thought bald guys with a beard is much better........
But the day I shave it. I was feeling happy, and that is no price.

Balding at 30 is acceptable but not in early 20s. I suffer receding hairline and thin hair since 21 years old. Since then I lost confidence about my self. Soon in 2 months, i will be 25. 25 seem like a good number for me, i mean “old enough to balding” if anyone asking my age. Now i will shave my head and hit the gym so i can look badass when im 30 years old!

Did it two years ago and Im happy. I was ready for 20 years for it was easy once the time arrived. Full shave is way better than old man head. You look way younger and cooler.
No more Brush, comb, Hat hair, Bed hair, Bad Hair day, never have to pay for another haircut, never have to worry about the wind, rain, cooler in the summer, can go swimming and not have to be bothered by it getting in your face, no shampoo, conditioner....i see nothing but pluses.
There's a reason 'it always looks better'. Most the these guys are blessed with good head shapes and generally look decent with or without hair. The ones who don't don't post videos on youtube.

I've been losing my hair since early 20's, it never bothered me until recently, now just turned 60, asked my grey, balding hair is making me look old, I hate going to the barbers and leave it until my thin wispy hair makes me look like a mad professor, I'm building up to taking it all off my self, I'm almost there, watching your videos has been a great help, thanks for building my confidence up to do it.

It was definitely something that dealt a huge blow to my confidence, especially since it was very noticeable to my classmates, so it definitely felt like a huge weight lifted off my shoulders since I’m finally taking charge of it instead of letting it control my happiness. I had FUE transplant for hairline. It was painless and worked amazing. I started using regaine for other areas. Fast and very effective.

Honestly... I’m terrified of losing my hair, I’m 24 and my hairlines receding at the sides and I reckon I’ll have to shave it by 28-30! It’s a terrifying prospect because as vain as this sounds I look great with hair as I have a large head and I can’t grow a beard so having to shave my head sounds awful!
The problem with young men like yourself is that they care too much about what other people think . The way you feel now won't be the same in 10 years. Just rock the buzz cut man . You'll be surprised in a good way.
You'd be 27 now, how's it going? I'm 25 now. I have some nice parking lots but no balding on top. It's definitely receding alowly, for now it looks fine but I'm sure I'll have to shave it by 28-30 as well
@@m.s.35 I started finasteride treatment and it stopped all of my hairloss and I actually gained some hair back. My hair has now been the same since I posted the original comment. Finasteride has worked wonders, no side effects, blood work all fine.
Just shaved it all off today! Turn 30 in a few weeks.

I knew the feeling of what i was going to keep feeling and what i was going to feel tomorrow morning about my hair making my miserable . That right there is when i knew i needed to do it. I just shaved my head last week on a wim. I had a little bit of receding but nothing that I'd be ashamed of. I've been wanting to shave my head for about a year now after I became a dad. I guess in my eyes it was a transitioning from young me to an older more mature and wiser me.

Being bald is cool man. I shaved my head once in high school during the summer. I liked it. But if you are that concern of hairloss then try this : Weekly castor oil treatment can hold a receiding hairline for some extra years. Mix it with coconut oil and argan oil. Doing sport, dieting and yoga helps a huge deal.

The minoxidil does work as long as you use it, so it’s not for people who want something lower maintenance. What he says can be achieved for cheaper without using some over priced subscription service. At the end, it’s your choice and shaving it off is totally ok too.

One of my temples started receding bad only one tho and my hair thinning, I'm 22 I'm not as bad as others at the moment I feel like I still got till 26 till its gone.. was thinking of transplants but its risky and expensive and the oitments idk about chemicals going close to my brain and the pills all that not worth cancer or something in the future.. fuck it man I'm 22 but wise so as soon as its obvious I'm balding I'm gonna just shave it all off and embrace the new me videos like this is helping me mentally prepare for that that good work guys.

As my wife (and many other women I know) says: clinging on to the ‘last straws’ can look a bit ‘pathetic’- so a guy that shaves is looked at being ‘sexy’ in many cases ,due to looking more confident . Im a 1mm man myself for 15yrs now , experiment with lengths is a tip : one mm can make a difference in looks
