  • A quick look at how my old Blacksmith's Coke Forge is constructed.
I build this coke forge 25-30 years ago. It has spent a lot of those years sat out in all weathers. Originally it had a sheet metal lid, which has long since rusted away.
Recently I put castors on the forge as well as a 600 m³/hr (350 cfm) blower. Originally I used to use my Grandma's old Model 402 Hover (1947-1953).
Coke forges are a lot hotter then gas forges and so you need to keep a close eye on you work piece!

Interesting. Where did you source your new blower from?

I got the blower off Amazon from Germany
