Many years ago when the groups sang, they did not have the P.A. equipment that they have today. Most groups on tour would sing to their records and "Lip Synch" It's still Their Record and their voice. Nowadays it's so sophisticated that people don't realize that "Lip Synch" has been going on for a very long time. It's very hard to tell now because sound techs are incredibly good and Frankie is also incredibly good at his craft. He's not doing it to make his voice better, or lie. He's doing it to be able to do a show when he's 82.
