- Taped in performance at Le Petit Theatre du Vieux Carre, the 2001 New Orleans production of Rupert Holmes' Broadway hit "The Mystery of Edwin Drood."
In this scene, John Jasper (Vatican Lokey) has invited guests for dinner on the night of a terrible storm. The Reverend Chrisparkle (Bert Pigg) arrives with his charges, the exotic siblings Neville & Helena Landless (Russell Hodgkinson & Terri Gervais) as well as nephew Edwin Drood (Amy Alvarez) with the much-desired Rosa Bud (Ruth Ann Wild). After deliberately dosing Edwin, Neville, and himself with hallucinogenic laudanum, Jasper manipulates the situation, aided by butler Bazzard (Patrick Gendusa) and maid Susannah (Christina Tichenor.)

This isn't a man playing John Jasper; this IS John Jasper! This is the reason why I have become obsessed with this character! You've got everything down perfect! Right down to his eyebrows!
One word: FANTASTIC!! Every character is performed wonderfully! One of the best productions on RUclips! I especially like the Crisparkle
How very kind you are and thank you for the commentary. I am very proud of this performance; just as I am of every performance I have had the pleasure of doing under the Messrs. Sonny Borey & Derek Franklin at Le Petit. Now that the theatre has been reduced to 35% of its previous capacity I am even more proud.
EXCELLENT!
Soooooooooooooooooooooo great :)
