  • This detailed video explains how to print Facebook messages for court or other archiving purposes by following two easy methods.
As you may already know, there is no native or official way to print Facebook messages, especially if you are looking to print them for court, trial or similar archiving purposes. So, in this video I will show you two incredibly easy ways to print Facebook or Facebook Messenger messages for court or other legal matters.
In the first method, I will discuss how to use a computer tool to print your Facebook messages for court with important meta information like date & time stamps. I will show how you can directly print your Facebook messages or print them after exporting them to your PC in either HTML or PDF file. You only need to download a JSON file for this by logging in to your Facebook account. You can see the detailed process here bit.ly/print-f...
Second method is something that you do it on a regular basis. Yes. I’m taking about taking a screenshot. You can open a Facebook conversation on your phone or on your computer and take a screenshot, then you can easily print that screenshot using your printer. But this method won’t be suitable for everyone because it would take a long time to capture and print a large Facebook conversation by just taking the screenshots. Also, you will lose the important meta information like date & time stamps of your Facebook conversations.
I would like to remind you that I’m not a legal expert. So, the information provided in this video does not, and is not intended to, constitute legal advice. I hope you’ll find the video useful. If you have any questions or comments, please feel to share them in the comment section. #PrintFacebookMessages

Hi Celivette, settings got changed a bit, but option to download "Messages" is still there. This is what I'm doing (on a computer):
      1. Login to your Facebook account by entering your email/phone number and password.
      2. Click on your profile picture icon and go to Settings and Privacy > Privacy Center.
      3. In the Privacy Center, click Settings > Facebook settings.
      4. Now go to "Your Facebook Information" section.
      5. In the Your Facebook Information section select the third option which is "Download Profile Information."
      6. Now select JSON file from the drop-down menu available in the "Downloads" section.
      7. In the "Select information to download" section, you will see the option to download your messages.
I'm following these on a web browser on my computer. I'm not doing it via Facebook app on my smartphone. Attaching a screenshot for your reference: imgur.com/esyTMh7 Hope that helps.

Hi, I'm sorry it was free for a limited time only and now they made it a paid app. I can only ask them for 15% discount, but can't get it free.

Okay, so a seven minute video, plus additional instructions about JSON files, blah blah blah, in order to screen-cap a long message on messenger? That is completely unacceptable in 2024, that we'd need to go through all of this stupidity.
