  • First video of 2023! I think we should cover a VERY IMPORTANT topic...tattoo aftercare. This is what I recommend all of my clients do, and if you aren't sure what to do or your artist wasn't very clear, this is for YOU too!
    It's as easy as:
    1. Unwrap
    2. Rinse Tattoo
    3. Wash
    4. Pat Dry
    5. Lotion
Let me know in the comments if you do something different...

This is exactly what I’ve been doing. Washing my arm with my hand using Simple Soap non perfumed soap x2 a day and Palmers Coca Butter x3 a day. I have been showering in the mornings though impossible not too really when you have work etc no issues at all

    What lotion would you recommend?

I ALWAYS recommend Palmer’s Cocoa Butter (heals and softens) or Saniderm lotion.

Most people say unscented lotions are preferable, any concern that this isn’t fragrance free?

Hey what lotion works you recommend

Bepanthem for 3/4 days with plenty of washing. Then move to Palmer's fragrance free Coco lotion

I heard bepanthen has changed their ingredients and it isn't safe to use for your tat?

@@sakatagintoki2888 I've heard that but they heal mint every time. I get colour and they still look amazing. So not sure what it's supposed to do haha

@@teamblindmonkey1 I've been using bepanthen too but lately all my artist and friends who have gotten tattoos are telling me to stop using bepanthen for some reason
