They did make the game but did not release it as it they believed it wasn't good enough for fan expectations. A script for the game was released on the internet a few years back which explained what the story would have been i think.

Throw in your own numerical calculations/speculation, but with a generation of gamers keeping the HL legend alive for so long and a new generation hearing the hype and love, any Half Life 3 project is akin to a Beatles resurrection reunion tour. Пара эпизодов была вполне.
Жду до сих пор как подросток хотя мне 38 лет. Игра гениальна. Лучше бы доделали епизод 3 и закончили эту историю. В итоге не епизод 3 не 3 ей части.
