Click baited again! You didn't bring up any real new problems. There weren't supposed to be any more Starship launched this year, and having a launch next week would have been a real bonus. Considering this launch will have an upgraded prototype design it was really surprising that channels were putting out that they would launch in December instead of January as originally indicated.
I am really curious to see if they catch the starship with the booster still on the OLM. How will the booster handle a rocket landing in very close proximity without getting buffeted by the engine exhaust. Seems risky to me.
@@wildlyoptimistic1352 booster will likely be moved before catch, it will likely take multiple orbits til the ship is in position to be able to deorbit and return
Methane and O² delivery: it seems to me that an offshore commodities transfer bouy that would allow a small ship or barge to hookup and transfer a much larger delivery of propellants than can travel by road would expedite keeping the tanks topped off.
Good Morning, Kev. You know that SpaceX will use this time to make sure that the next flight will be a close to perfect as you can get. Thanks for the update on the tank farm. Haven't heard much about the tank farm lately. The year is closing quickly. BO has a good history of delays. Delays, Delays, Delays. The hot fire test? I don't think they have much confidence in 1 BE-4 engine test. To say nothing about 7 BE-4 engines. If the BE-4 engine is so great. How come they didn't totally go with throttle up on the ULA rocket. It could have overpowered the faulty booster rocket motor. If they do a test on the 7 BE-4 rockets. I want to see a cameras on this rocket. But don't to close. Blue Ghost will be interesting. I hope that good smoothly. Great Update, Kev. Have a Great Day.
Spacex is still well above and beyond what anybody else is doing ! Even no flight 7 till January most likely the workforce will be off for the upcoming holidays !
Good reporting. I like it that you got a human narrator. And there seems to be a real human touch in the writing. It's funny how many parasite channels pop up using AI narration and writing and it's not fair to the viewers or to channels like Great SpaceX. Hang in there! One note: deluge is pronounced "dell yuge" not "de-luge." Get that right and you'll be 10,000x better than any AI narrator. They get all kinds of stuff wrong. You, just one or two little errors for the whole 11 minutes. Pretty good!
on the subject of BO's "delays" there are 2 or 3 parameters that may have been forgotten by observers we almost always compare the results of SpaceX and BO so -1- what are the weekly schedules for both if it's ~40 hours/week for BO and more than 80 hours/week for SpaceX (it will take BO twice as many weeks to do the same thing) -2- the staff of both are obviously competent but if SpaceX has attracted ALL the super geniuses, there are only good ones left for BO, also competent but less exceptional -3- in a parallel universe without Elon Musk or SpaceX (hard to imagine) would the BO adventure also seem slow? the contrast between the two is painful! maybe because SpaceX is still in "Super Saiyan III or IV or V" mode
A lot of words just to say "This is supposition about no launch this year" sorta seems like filler otherwise. Which tells me not much news but I need a video to post. have a nice day
Why do you constantly rehash the same stuff over and over again. Just present the new info, repeating the same things over and over again to extend the video length makes it not worth while watching!

Blue Origin just needs to give up already. I think that NASA needs to change their whole mission as well. They should just sell all their stuff to SpaceX, team up with them and stop spending _our_ tax dollars on stuff like the SLS. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely *love* NASA and they'll always have a special place in my heart but unfortunately, they're just starting to become obsolete.

What I wonder about is the rapid fuel consumption just to clear the tower. It seems like they use around 20% of the total booster fuel load just to clear the tower. If they were able (strcturally difficult) to use SRB's, they would be able to get the booster much higher/faster with the fuel.

Any info on the moving of SpaceX Control from Hawthorn Ca, to the Star Base in Tx?
Yeah, we will discuss this in the upcoming episode

No earlier than 11 Jan, 2025 launch date has been official for weeks - why would the announcer expect a 2024 launch?
