- Varenyky is a long-standing Ukrainian tradition, a secret recipe for soft and tender dough.
Traditionally, dumplings are served with sour cream, but now other types of additions are often used.
You can use the same dough, but different fillings: boiled potatoes, fried cabbage, cheese, fried mushrooms, meat, berries.

Ingredients for dough:
400 g wheat flour
1 egg
1/2 tsp salt
3 tbsp olive oil
250 ml boiling water
Let the dough rest for 20 minutes before making varenyky!
Potato filling:
About 600 g peeled potatoes
25 g of butter
About 50 ml of milk
Salt to taste!
