His eyes said it all. Torn between the relief of being set free and the intense sorrow over the whole tragedy. This is the face of a man who cares for people and who is very brave/honorable for going back overseas to such a scary situation. ♡
How intense. Being blamed for an event that he did not remember well, in a foreign country and language, tride in an unknown judicial system and getting to that end point of not guilty....damn!
Jaime Sandoval the fucked up thing was that he was never told by anyone that this kid died at his concert until the band showed up two years later and the swat met at the band airport to arrest him
I know this is an old comment, but he went back there by choice too. He could have stayed out of that country and never faced trial. He went back because he knew it was the right thing to do. Randy is one of the most badass dudes on the planet.
Randy is one of the most humble people in the metal community and the fact that he owned up morally to what happened in Czech is just a huge inspiration to us LoG fans. We love Randy and everything he does for us. I may have just become a fan a couple years ago but the music is such a huge inspiration to me that I cannot even begin to describe. So happy things went the way they did. Before I was even a LoG fan I thought the charges were ridiculous but now, thinking back to then, I would be lost without Randy and this amazing band. Keep doing what you do Randall. You're one of my biggest inspirations.
Wow this was very deep. I'm very surprised randy went back and honestly Extremely happy to see he wasn't put blame on. This a step in the right direction. Hope things go smooth randy and I AM still and always will be a huge support to you and lamb of god. Don't give up the music we all love you man
That was the face of man happy to be free...but heartbroken and saddened by what transpired. A man profanely changed by a terrible tragedy. No celebration. Just momentarily relief. Followed by terrible sadness...
He looked like he was about to cry, like, you see a relief in his eyes, but the will to cry overwhelmed that for sure, im glad he was found not guilty, so he can continue to share his music with the world.
As my opinion goes on just this clip....when he realized he was exonerated, I've never seen so many emotions flood over a man's face that quickly. All the while knowing that the case wasn't a "free randy!" media circus. I see his soul hurt that one of his fans was lost in a tragedy. That face gave me chills cause he was prepared to do his time and instead of smile and shake hands, etc he paid his fan respect. Un real. Take note pop and hip hop drones. That's how it's done
You know what really sad, the fact that I truely believe if the same situation happened in the US Mr. Blythe would be in prison this very day. Nobility is powerful!!
I know it’s been out for a few years now but If you have not read Randy’s Book Dark Days I whole heartedly recommend it. I’m just over half way through it and I can honestly say it is one of the best things I have ever read.
Does anyone know the song playing? Yes, I cried after watching this, at least, 30 times. Thank you for posting this. I could only hope to have 10% Randy Blythe's moral principle.
Funny, OJ got cleared of the same shit and he was all smiles and handshakes in the courtroom. And this kid wasn't Randy's wife. The tidal waves of emotion crashing inside of his head at the end says it all.
Mental Imagery well the one thing was that Randy did not know that a fan of his died while the band was playing . For one how the did this fan brush by security and got up on stage was beyond me. Had some pyrotechnics gone off he would have been dead right there. It was because Randy gave him a slight shove and thought that the kid jumped back into the pit. Obviously the lame ass security at that festival was not doing their job that day
I agree, I saw the video where the kid tried to jump up there multiple times. And I swore I saw his head slam the railing one time thanks to the security. He already looked in shit-shape by the time he actually made it up to Randy. Sad all around
I prognosticate that LoG's new album will make '... And Justice For All' and 'Piece Of Mind' sound as dated as 70s Sabbath. Mop those floors, guys. 'El Dorado' and 'Dissident Aggressor'? Really ...? At least it wasn't Jethro Tull.
+Von Faahquard you are right, my friend, I still love songs like 'Sweet Leaf', 'After Forever', 'Wheels of Confusion', 'Supernaut', ... They remind me of being 15 again and starting to outgrow the novelty of KISS for something a little deeper, denser, and darker. I also like the two Dio albums they made in the 80s. Heaven and Hell and The Mob Rules. Great albums. I guess nostalgic is the word I'm looking for ... \m/
The mother and the Uncle met with him after the verdict. They told Randy that they now know he wasn't responsible for the kids death and didn't want his money. They blamed the venue and the lack of security. They did ask Randy to use his platform to have major changes done to shitty venues and their lazy, incompetent security.
The Prosecutor was hungover, arrived late and was caught napping everyday of that trial. It was later discovered that this Prosecutor was more obsessed with winning a high profile case than doing the decent, human thing of NOT ruining a man's life for his own benefit
I do security where the incident was happen. Meet Randy again and Jasta, at Heavy Montreal. He remember and say: "thats what I call a bounced Czech". I not like
Very intense. Glad he was found not guilty. I'm so sorry though Randy that you had to go through and deal with all of that. I'm sure that weight was so much to deal with at the time. So hugs from MI.

stop romanticizing this situation. You don't even know how it feels like being there and what happens inside one's mind.
How intense. Being blamed for an event that he did not remember well, in a foreign country and language, tride in an unknown judicial system and getting to that end point of not guilty....damn!
Accused not blamed. The word blamed suggests the verdict was already made up. A court case is to determine whether the accusation is true or not.
Jaime Sandoval the fucked up thing was that he was never told by anyone that this kid died at his concert until the band showed up two years later and the swat met at the band airport to arrest him
Annette Melnychuk that’s pretty shitty man
Horrifying

1000%. The integrity he showed in returning to face trial is simply beyond words. He will always be my most sacred role model.

So pleased for this guy. 512 is deep.

true dat.
Giovanni La Pietra He is innocent, you moron!!!
@@raphaelmacedo4467 he is not you Gay
Giovanni La Pietra you knew the kid didn’t you at least that’s vibe I get seeing how you are insulting everyone for being right
Reading your book in jail and how you described that moment and then seeing it man you are a beast
The fact he went back to Czech republic to face it is just...

daaamn....he's shocked....
Much respect for Randy, man Is really a genius. His gift for literature and writing is amazing.
love your music randy
Who says, there are no more heroes? This guy is amazing
We love you Randy. Thank you for sharing your story.
You know what really sad, the fact that I truely believe if the same situation happened in the US Mr. Blythe would be in prison this very day. Nobility is powerful!!
No we wouldn't...
I just want to give Randy a hug.
wow. much love to randy from va
His face and eyes says it all
He cares about people. You can see it in his eyes. He absolutely hates what happened, but is appreciative of being a free man. Wow
grande randy blythe
What a terrifying situation.
That's sad to watch. Just seen him live last night. Such a great performer.
There's no one I fucking respect more in this world.
man his book is insane good, as is his music

For me, it was the strong morality that had me hold intense respect. I felt the pain too, we can all learn from this.
Someone tell me why he was charged of manslaughter
Funny, OJ got cleared of the same shit and he was all smiles and handshakes in the courtroom. And this kid wasn't Randy's wife. The tidal waves of emotion crashing inside of his head at the end says it all.

Mental Imagery that was s different kid who showed up to court to let everyone know the kid in those videos were him not Daniel.
@@josephcasias3906 ah I did not know that. That's double awesome he'd do that, probably helped Randy's case a ton
Mental Imagery randy said in his book it helped a lot because those were the videos being presented as possible evidence
I was shocked he was ever charged. Lord only knows what that prosecutor was thinking, or wasn’t thinking.
I reckon prosecutor was the promoter trying to push Blame from themselves
i cried

'El Dorado' and 'Dissident Aggressor'? Really ...? At least it wasn't Jethro Tull.
Del Parrish sabbath doesnt sound dated mate
+Von Faahquard You are right, my bad. Sabbath has had lots of imitators, but they forged metal in the 60s.
The album '13' is cool. Very cool.
Del Parrish yeah, even their old stuff still sounds great to me.
+Von Faahquard you are right, my friend, I still love songs like 'Sweet Leaf', 'After Forever', 'Wheels of Confusion', 'Supernaut', ... Cool. I agree. Vol 4 is my favourite album. I got to see heaven and hell a few years before dio died.
He look so fresh
i just wonder how much he paid for the death of the young guy? For such deaths, the family gets 68k $ in Turkey by law.

I guess you could say Randy was saved by the Lamb of God.
The Clungster No. No you couldn't.
Why not ?
@@TheSkateHERO your statement didn't make sense at all.
@@siali8683 Well, in an abstract way and since he is in the band Lamb of God he was saved from his accidental sin. So it made sense. lol :D
Mr. Blythe went back to trial against the word of his everybody including his attorney.
