It's obvious but weird to think that one day this generation will have it's own nostalgic commercial. Imagine a bunch of 30-40 year olds saying, "Remember Old Spice commericals? Haha those were the days."

As a Canadian who has seen both of those adds (as well as SOOOOOO many others), we've got a pretty fucked up way of advertising things. I laughed my ass off when i saw the beginning of those adds, because i knew what was coming.
I'm so glad you made this compilation as well as giving Doug and Channel Awesome credit! I've seen SO many bootleg channels so it's nice seeing someone giving credit where credit is due.
The part where you suggested the Micro-machines guy do an Audio book made me loose it. I had to pause because i was laughing so hard i was missing the next commercial.

The more I think about Pebbles Cereal and Barney's obsession with them, the more disturbed I get because what was the name of Fred's daughter again? Oh right, it's _Pebbles_. And the only person with Pebbles cereal? Fred. There's something very disturbing there that I can't put my finger on.

It's supposed to increase your sweating, which means more fat is burned when you exercise.
The commercial is total bullshit, though. It's only effective while exercising.
The whole idea of the suit is to get some water weight out of your body via sweating but the effects are temporary and you regain the water weight when you drink anything that is a liquid

One of the many reasons I love this guy is when he does his song it gets to a point where I realize that he is clearly lip syncing (which isn't an issue) then he immediately drinks water while he is still singing.
