I had the pleasure to fly a 441 myself from 1995 to 2002, actually the last one built with S/N 362.It is truly a very nice turboprop aircraft with outstanding performance, especially if it is equipped with the modified "dash 10" or "super 8" engines and four blade props. 300+ knots easily ;)
That must have been a very fun aircraft to fly, I've always loved the 441 and it is always a pleasure to see them when they pass through CZNL. I was wondering about the Dash 10 engines, I noticed the decals on this aircraft.
Never flew the 441 I paxed a few times in one I did however fly the metro 2/3 and 23 on and off for about 8 years and have 5000 hours+ on dash 10/11 and 12 tpe 331's Always loved the sound of the Garrett prop Even though props are for boats 😁
I am an a&p and worked in Wichita at Yinlging Aircraft for over 20 years and the Conquest ll was what I worked the most.Always got to go on test hops to set fuel control computers, and a good running -10 could do a good 315 and maybe more on a good day,a blast to fly right seat in!
Wow they are quite rare only just over 350 ever built. Never knew that. Great catch mate, its the sound as well as the shot that always does it for me. Well done. Liked :)
Wonderful footage big time liked and the snow makes it look out of this world, would love to fly on one, I flew on Cessna 411A out of Van Nuys Airport in California and was very impressed, the one I flew on was Once Owned By Gerald R. Ford, 38th President of United States of America.
+Ed Whisenant Now that is cool, not too many people can claim to have flown on an aircraft owned by a President! I was really happy to catch this nice turboprop, was definitely a nice change from the usual King Air Air Ambulances.
A rare bird like a Piper t1040. Am delighted when due to propeller light phenomenon and screen frame rate have an even number, the blades appear stationary. Or who can explain this better.
just some fun facts for you. Serial number one is registered in Mauritania under the registration 5T-MAV, the last conquest (Numerically 363) serial number 441-0698 is flown in south Africa under the registration ZS-ASM. The plane here is serial number 94 registered to Wisconsin USA.
Lovely sound on this plane. Love it!

For a sec I saw the plane going straight into the mountain 🏔️😶 then it turned ✈️ relieved 🫠
It’s a pretty challenging airport to fly in and out of, lots of mountains around.
Beautiful Bird
