I just love this water Stencil and using it on vellum! So gorgeous! And this Koi die and stamp set by Altnew is just fabulous! By far the best one I've seen! Love how your Card turned out! ❤
Wonderful card! I really like your 3D technique. I am encouraged to get out of my comfort zone by watching videos like yours. Thank you so much. I'm so glad I found you in this release hop.
Be true to you and your style and beautiful designs will emerge…good for you for trying challenging yourself. These layered Koi are so amazing thanks for the inspiration!
You did such an amazing job with your voiceover! I commented on Lydia’s video that the fish set is not usually a set I would go for, but you both made them look so user-friendly and adorable! Great card and video; thanks for sharing! 🇦🇺💚⭐️
Love this life like fish! Great design Evie! I have only been to the Aquarium Restaurant in TN, but I am sure it is a fabulous experience to dine while koi fish swim underneath your feet! Thanks for sharing!
Wow! What a great card! I'm loving those little koi and that water stencil! And how fun to use a few different colors with the stencil! So pretty on that vellum! I've never tried embossing powder with dye inks, so thanks for the tips on how to do that!
It’s a great way to use up those darn vellum scraps, once you ink up scraps and emboss them, you can cut all kinds of embellishments from them to keep on hand.
I really liked your approach to water colouring and the overall design elements on your project. I also love to watercolour with inks. Thanks for sharing! 🇦🇺💚⭐️
Wow, wow, wow! Those fish are so realistic looking because of the vellum and the gray shadows! I too have been to restaurants where they have the fish in a small pond. The grandkids love to see them. Such an awesome card! If I'm going to get out of my comfort zone it would be to try and color things like fish or flowers or any animal with markers...not a fan and don't do it well.
I felt the same, but this stamp set was definitely forgiving, you could put the spots anywhere or omit them altogether and the fish would still look cool
I like your point of view that the fish isn't your normal, but the mixed media style is, so you designed a card that the fish just become an accessory to your normal, comfortable style.
Great idea! You definitely want to keep an open mind to see what other options you can use your products for! Be sure you tag me and Altenew when you make it! We’d love to see it!
At the end I thought I would get a close up view of the card but the video barely showed the card then the screen went totally black. Not sure if that is on your end or mine but it was the only video that did it. What few seconds I did see was a fabulous card, however!
Yeah, technical difficulties 🤷🏻♀️ glad you liked it! :) you can head over to my Instagram to see my posting of this and all the cards I created for this release @scrappystamptgefunup

I am thinking I might have to get that water stencil…thinking it could also be stones on a wall or walkway.
Great idea! You definitely want to keep an open mind to see what other options you can use your products for! Be sure you tag me and Altenew when you make it! We’d love to see it!
Thanks so much! But yes the screen went black at the end.
My pleasure :)
I usually just use a pale gray alcohol marker to draw a partial line to look like a shadow.
Cool! TFS
My pleasure!
Fun card!
