it's soo good. The way the techpriest's speech was reverent and filled with zeal and determination to serve the machine god, against the necron lord saying that they enslaved their gods
- Parallels with the original trailer = PERFECTION - Necron voice acting = PERFECTION - Natural evolution of the story line by incorporating the Necron perspective = PERFECTION - The prospect for another OST by Guillame David = MORE THAN PERFECTION PRAISE THE OMNISSIAH
my favorite part is that the Necron sounded more organic towards the end whereas Faustinius became more "ascended mechanical" towards the end of mechanicus 1's trailer
"My people shackled the stars, and broke mortality when the species you sprang from had barely left the slime pools it spawned in. Our wars burned reality, and the dominion of our kings is without limit. The ground you tread on is not yours; it is ours. "
The stars were young when our empire was ascendant, and when the last of them die; we alone will remain. For we are immortal. -The greatest Necron supremacy quote of all time.
The music still gives me chills. I also love the homage to the Mechanicus 1 opening, the necrons are as disgusted by the tech-priests as the tech-priests are of their own flesh.
Maybe not infamy, but I think the final lines has some of that Necron dread/hype: "The stars were young when our empire was ascendant. And when the last of them die, we alone will remain." (Edit 1: correction) (Edit 2: Also, the quote maybe isn't fully accurate to the background lore, but it's still kinda neat)
i don't think it will either. the techpriests speech has excellent rythm and character, the voice is beautiful. It's exudes humanity and desire, how can we relate to an immortal necron like that? But if the game have the angle in wich the necrons want to restore their bodies that would be awesome, that i would understand and empathise with. Wouldn't that be so bewildering to the techpriests? sjdajksjkdajks
Unfortunately no, the admech actually care about their goals and makes it plausible which makes the quote impactful for the faction and their religion. The necrons however are very divided some want to return to having flesh while the other prefers to stay living metal Another issue draws that the dynasties want to conquer the galaxy their own way and not band together, when characters like the silent king wants to reunite everyone, but yet majority refuse...
Everything about the audio here is beyond perfect. Voice acting, sound design (that modulation is sublime), musical direction, and, it goes without saying, the music itself. An absolute master class
From the moment I witnessed the interlopers, they disgusted me. Eons we slumbered, waiting to reclaim our galaxy. Only for it to become infested with vermin, that proliferated in our absence. Now we awaken, to retake what is ours. Wretched amalgamations of meat and metal, shackled to ignorance by your faith, do you truly believe you can stop us? We who have shattered our very gods, and enslaved them to our will. The stars were young when our empire was ascendant, and when the last of them will die we alone will remain. For we are immortal.
The second game I completed on my Steam Deck, and what basically helped seal the deal for me finally being in the hobby...with my first two armies as Adeptus mechanicus and Necrons. Holy blessed Omnissiah! A sequel! My flesh is so ready for this!!!
From weakness of the mind, Omnissiah save us, From the lies of the Antipath, circuit preserve us, From the rage of the Beast, iron protect us, From the temptations of the flesh, silica cleanse us, From the ravages of time, anima shield us, From this rotting cage of biomatter, Machine god, set us free.
No way that I just wanted to rewatch the first games intro and stubled upon the trailer for the second game. Glory to the omnissiah May this game be blessed
I always find it funny how necrons says it "stars were young when our empire was" dude chill. You've lived for 5 million years and slept 60. Its a mere 65 million years in the cosmic scale. I LOVE necrons but their theatrics are hilarious! Got to find ways to not go insane I guess 😂😂
I think what they mean is that they are the oldest species that's survived so long. Old ones are dead, c'tan gods of the material plane are imprisoned by the necrons and eldar and orcs came a bit after. It makes sense if you don't just look at the surface value
When I finally get to hear the soundtrack for this game, I’m gonna shed a single crocodile tear. The soundtrack for the first game came at a time of many highs/ups in life. So I associate that soundtrack with many good memories… I can’t wait!
The Omnissiah has blessed this year's Skulls event with the motive force! Seriously, the reveals this year for the line-up of licensed 40k games (new titles, sequels, updates to on-going titles) has been impressive, to put it mildly.
There is nothing more glorious than when the necrons got you on the ropes and you think you are about to lose then you roll a super lucky critical at the last minute and then the soundtrack kicks in and you turn the turn the tide of battle and start taking the fight to them😭😭😭
Prepare yourselves for another sick soundtrack
My thoughts exactly! Another epic OST to paint my Admech to
Hopefully, the bar got really high with the first one
Looking forward to this so freaking much
I look forward to that almost more than the game.
It’s the same composer right??
I love the inversion of the mecahnicus speech from the first game
In ADMECH 1 it's "the machine is immortal" but in this trailer it's "we are immortal".
Love the reflection of the speech throughout the trailer.
I wish it was "Only _we_ are immortal."
it's soo good. The way the techpriest's speech was reverent and filled with zeal and determination to serve the machine god, against the necron lord saying that they enslaved their gods
“We are so back”
- Mechanicus fans after taking nothing but straight L’s for the tabletop and seeing this masterpiece
Not only that but we also have very little amount of video games about our tech boys
So that is where all the funding and development went for the Adeptus Mechanicus in 10th edition 🤣🤣🤣
@@kerviuskuroshiba5120 money well spent at least

My emotional cores generate joy. I choose to accept it.

The Noosphere is alive with our jubilant voices
THEY DID IT! NECRONS DISSED THE MECHANICUS I TRAILER!
That was GLORIOUS.
"My people shackled the stars, and broke mortality when the species you sprang from had barely left the slime pools it spawned in. Our wars burned reality, and the dominion of our kings is without limit. The ground you tread on is not yours; it is ours. "
That's from "Ahriman Eternal" novel or the advertisement?
"Counter point..." (Titan horn) "Consider that your eviction notice, grandpa"
bold words of someone in Gauss Pylon range
To quote someone else "You exist because we allow it. And you will end because we demand it."
"Wretched amalgamations of meat and metal."
Finally a line as cool as "Rudimentary creatures of blood and flesh" from Mass Effect.
"We are eternal."
"Acclaimed composer Guillaume David is returning to compose the soundtrack"
Can't wait to see the new soundtrack.
Same here
I think I'll rather hear the soundtrack instead, much more fun.
The soundtrack can be heard, but seen?
Woooo!!!
The stars were young when our empire was ascendant, and when the last of them die; we alone will remain.

From their retconned lore anyway.

Glad to see they have something to agree on about their flesh ;)
Honey wake up, the necrons just dropped a diss-track to the Mechanicus
These guys know how to treat Admech properly. Can't wait.
We might not get many good tabletop models but at least we get the best soundtrack’s in our games
The soundtrack Cometh
The composer Guillaume David is the goat!
the feels from this trailer...
the music worthy to be a successor of the first game...
dreams come true
The play on the original trailer is just chef kiss amazing!!
That music! I can't state enough just how good Mechanicus music is. Probably one of the best video game soundtracks ever made.
I'm pretty sure this trailer suggests that we will be able to step into the shoes of the Necrons this time as well. Either way, I can't wait for this.
Check the description, it says they're playable
if you read the steam page, this is very much the case. both sides are going to be playable
warhammer community already said necrons are playable
2 campaigns, two stories, two perspectives. Is what have been said.
My brother, they confirmed Necrons as a playable faction in the video description lol

I used the first soundtrack for an entire TTRPG campaign. Got rave reviews from all my players
It is unlikely but as a necron fan I hope our version of the speech will rise to achieve half the infamy the first one did
The one about the weakness of the flesh is just too "Warhammer" for this to ever match it.
But it's a great companion piece.

"Wretched amalgamations of meat and metal." is a pretty banger line
I adore the Necron parody of the Mechanicus speech from the first games trailer. Great, and I cant wait for more glorious soundtrack.
As long as Guillaume David is composing the soundtrack again (which it sounds like it), I will buy this IMMEDIATELY
The Warhammer Community page seems to confirm he will!
The Steam page confirms that he will return.
A certain mandalorian knight has just jumped on his seat somewhere
This trailer truly shows how much they know their fanbase.
Ooooh and that half-riff from Children of The OMNISSIAH just as the II comes up! *chef’s kiss*
upload directly to my servo-skull, please.
I bet Videx is furious! And all that hard work to make him smile too…
Great idea for a sequel to play as the enemy faction. Loved the first game, can't wait the release.
2 things : 1. Another lore accurate video game for W40k, 2. HELL YEAH Guillame David IS BACK !!
Everything about the audio here is beyond perfect. Voice acting, sound design (that modulation is sublime), musical direction, and, it goes without saying, the music itself. An absolute master class
I love the parallel of the necron’s speech to the og mechanics speech.
Magos has been really quiet since Necrons dissed his track
For years I waited and did not understand why no attempt was given to the probably best w40k turn based strategy game.
When the ad mech music hits at the end❤❤❤

Old ones: nah uh.
Will get the game just for that sweet sweet music to my mechanical ears
That soundtrack though, probably one of thee best for Warhammer.
Children of the Omnissiah playing at the end is Chef's kiss. I got goosebumps and tears in my eyes.
That was the least expected, yet the most welcomed announcement.
As long as they got the same musician from the first game this is a must buy for me
it's official, they did
They will. The community website confirms it.
Praise be to Guillaume David and his music!
They started this perfectly. They had to start it with that line. 😂
The intro of the original game still remains as one of the best there ever were
Oooh that soundtrack
That synth gave me chills
I absolutely love that they started the trailer with a similar quote like that!

They are always over the top and it is their main weakness.

The parallels between both opening dialogues are insane! Can't wait to see more.

Looking forward to playing as the Adeptus Necronicus
