Mag'ladroth the void dragon is revealed in the novel mechanicum to be the abstraction the mechanicus venerate so highly. It's ironic for the dragon: he has had 2 perceptions both become their own lives of sorts: the void dragon is a feared god from the days of the war in heaven, something EVERYONE feared. The machine god, the omnissiah if you will, is loved by mankind immensely and seen as glorious in all its forms. The only question remains....how corrupted is the dragon as an avatar currently? Is it still spiteful of all life not like it? Or perhaps it's time with mankind as the perspective giver for it's concept calmed it's avatar to become.... compliant?
As a diesel tech and mechanic to anything with an engine and motor, hydraulics and silica, servos and valves. More of this is greatly appreciated. Sing praise to the God of all Machines.
