Just followed two videos on car parts. One for the side mirror and one for the headlights. They are fantastic. Very professional, well thought out and easy to follow.
Ive never done any maintenance before, but this only took like 45 minutes. I couldve gone faster, but i checked the video after each step just to make sure i didnt screw anything up 😂
Your video was very helpful to me in replacing my passenger-side mirror after a flying turkey took out the original one. I was surprised at how easy it was... the RAM engineers did a great job on serviceability! I sourced the new mirror through you, it seemed to be of decent quality and looked very similar to the original. The only problem I encountered was overtightening one of the studs - I was trying to close the gap between the mirror trim and the paint with a tiny 1/4" socket wrench, tightening the nut on the stud. The stud ended up breaking, now I will only have two studs supporting the mirror. It would have been good to have a torque recommendation on what these studs can tolerate. I was surprised that I could put enough torque on it to break it with the little wrench.
Hello, these are indeed small nuts that don't require much tightening. To be honest, there is no torque recommended by the manufacturer, but tightening should be gentle.
Do you have a video on doing the passenger door, or motorized mirrors, if they are any different? Just not sure how the wiring is going to work for a motorized passenger side view mirror to get to the driver side door control.
Sorry for the late response. Yes the connection is the same. But you need to get them programmed. I don’t know how much the dealership will charge to program them. But you can get a programmer on boost auto parts.

The steps are the same, there will simply be an additional connection.
To anyone, are the power connection the same if you want to replace your factory mirrors for the mirrors with blinker lights

It's possible, but I think you'll have to go to the dealership to have the car programmed.
Well done much appreciated
