This video will detail how to install your Boost Auto Parts towing mirrors onto your 2009-2018 Dodge Ram 1500 or 2010-2018 Ram 2500/3500. This is for Boost Auto Parts Dodge tow mirrors without our DIY Power Fold Upgrade Kit (for vehicles originally equipped with power fold, or manual fold mirrors). If you have Boost Auto Parts 2009-2018 Dodge Ram 1500 or 2010-2018 Ram 2500/3500 tow mirrors with our DIY Upgrade Kit (manual fold mirrors originally upgrading to power fold) please reference a separate video. This video includes tow mirrors with running light and signal. The video covers the mirror mounting as well as the wiring for all of the lighting features. The video covers the mirror installation as well as wiring.

All of the parts featured in this video are available from Boost Auto Parts including the mirrors with a variety of options including turn signal, running light, switchback (white running light, amber signal).
These mirrors fit 4th generation 2009 2010 2011 2012 2013 2014 2015 2016 2017 2018 Dodge Ram 1500 Trucks (including EcoDiesel) as well as 4th generation 2010 2011 2012 2013 2014 2015 2016 2017 2018 Dodge Ram 2500 3500 Trucks (including Cummins diesel).
Very helpful. You guys at boost auto parts are awesome. Hopefully this helps some people out. If you have a 2012 ram 2500 6.7. Fuse #79, doesn’t exist, you’ll have to tap fuse #35.

09-10 - connector C322 pin 8 (email us and we can assist you in locating this)
11-12 - underhood fuse box fuse #35
13-18 - underhood fuse box fuse #79
19 classic - underhood fuse box fuse #79

Thanks for this video, just installed my Boost Auto Tow mirrors on my 2018 RAM 2500 and this made it real easy. I installed the tow brackets for good measure, Harbor Freight Rim Nut set (1/4 x 20) works perfect for securing the brackets. Now I just need to visit the dealer to get the codes added.
Did your dealer put the codes for you? They refused to put mines. They said I needed new door modules and OEM mirrors. I end up doing it with OBD2 plus activated more features

Great video, if I can add something, you don't need to use a drill for small screw like this, I prefer to use a hand screwdriver, specially when it's around and/or screw into plastic.

just bought new mirrors for my 2016 dodge ram 1500 5.7. I did not previously have power folding, heated defrost lighted turn signals or puddle lamp on the mirrors, but upgraded to the toe w/lighted turn signals and puddle lamps (led.) Everything works with power mirror adjustment, except the turn signals and puddle lamps. There was a place for the new plug and play on the connections, but i was told that i would need a code how do you get them and how to install them?

Should it be enough for the fold in mirrors I bought with the first 3 minutes of this video? Is for a 2017 3500 Ram Longhorn
If you originally had power folding mirrors and aren't adding the running light function it would be plug and play.
So I have power folding mirrors and turn signals for my stock mirrors. What does running lights mean? What mirror option should I choose on yalls website? Would I have to add all the extra wiring?
Running lights allows the corner mirror lights to stay on with the head lights. There is one wire that needs to be ran. Give our team a call at 765-831-2830 with any questions.
If my truck doesn’t have puddle lights will those just not work or will I have to re wire stuff?
You will need to have sales codes LEB and LEC enabled at the dealer.
If my 2019 1500 classic did not come with turn signals on the mirror and I am purchasing the signal only, Do I need to reprogram or do the “codes”.
Yes - you will need to enable the sales codes for signal and puddle light.
What did you end up doing on this? I have a 19 classic and just put signal mirrors on and they are not working. @BND407

are the plug & play for a 2019 Ram 1500 classic I bought some with another company & they do not fit to door module

I got two wires with mine. Puddle lights and reverse lights (I think. No instructions) Are they good to run the same way?

The video would be the instructions for our mirrors. If the mirrors are from us you can contact support@boostautoparts.com. They will be able to get everything working for you.
If my truck currently has running lights in the original mirrors, will I still have to run that extra wire to the fuse box to get the Boost Auto mirror running lights to work?
Fourth generation Rams were not offered with running light, so possibly you have a 5th generation truck. Please reach out to our team at sales@boostautoparts.com or 765-831-2830 so we can advise properly.

The procedure should be the exact same for the 5th Gen 2500/3500 trucks. The running light is still tapped at Fuse 79 in the underhood fuse box (if you bought mirrors with running light)

Should be plug & play if you originally had rear window defrost.
