I think you are awesome!! you have real knowledge Ed and you care about people!!!
Yes you are very valuable to us. Thank you so much..👍👍👍
So nice of you. I'm trying to find more expert help now. For every call I return, there are 10 that I can't.
Just called and left the message to you. Thanks.
Hi Joyce, so many calls!! So many people need help!! Did we call you back? Please let me know. Trying not to miss anyone. Thanks, Ed
Another tip would be to maximize your SS. Take your SS at FRA and then don't retire, keep working and collect your SS at the same time, and continue to increase your SS benefit at the same time.
Sorry for the late reply. Yes, excellent strategy!
I went to a meeting where this financial planner said he had this software that plugged in all your info to help you plan to make the most SS. I set up an appointment. I was pawned off on a 20 something arrogant “know it all” who wanted to know about all my finances. All they did was belittle me and tell me that if I would invest $100K they could get me a yield of 4%! 🙄
All that, and there was no software and no advice on SS.
I'm approximately 100 days from applying for social security (age 62). I was active-duty military from 84 to 94. How can I be sure that is accounted for? Thanks
Hi Robert, thank you for your service. Just make sure you take your DD214 in there too for them to record. Take care, Ed (former Sgt, USMC)
Social Security will not review your new amount until November, not April or May.
Sorry for the late replay. Please join my LIVE Q&A Thursdays from 4pm PST if you still have questions.
