Finally back to Bloodborne, I was afraid that this Elden Ring game was here to stay 😱
Katekyo means private teacher (according to google translator). Well, Brador is alone in a cell, that's very private. Brador also teaches you the consequences of you actions, after you ally yourself with Ludwig to kill Maria (again).
Hitman is a synonym for assassin, as Sophie so gracefully taught us.
And as Brador must've gone through a blood tranfusion like our character, so he was REBORN.
Katekyo Brador Hitman Church Assassin Reborn Bloodborne.
I wish I could upvote it a billion times
2:56 that wasn't just shade. That was an eclipse
I'm getting a vision of a bloodbourne mod where, whenever Brador invades you, sophie's piano jingle plays and a voice says "hi, brador here..."
lmao
I'm so happy that Sinclair and Sophie actually got Queen Yharnam onto the podcast to explain Nightmare Travel.
The new Sin note animation is great! Holdsy did a really good job
Katekeyo hitman reborn? I was thinking it was from Hitman agent 47 but then I realized who was asking the question 🤣
lol
You could make an entirly new nightmare with the hate created from Brador and The Bloody Crow.
Thank you both for a fun video. A fine elden ring to you 💍
I always thought that the way Bardor talks to you before and after you come face to face is because he knows you personally.
Yeah I think I first heard that theory from Redgrave, Abe maybe he does!
37:35 I come here for my Bloodborne combat strategies.
Looo
28:39 the hunter being condemned for the sins of past hunters is hilarious to me, because in canon you've been a hunter for like 3 hours. Like bro, I just fuckin got here, I have no idea what's going on, this time last night I was just a sick dude in a carriage lmao
Another lingering connection between the prototype of Eileen and the Healing Church are the Wheelchair Huntsmen who guard the entrance to Upper Cathedral Ward, as they too wear a Plague Doctor-like beak mask.
Alfred too uses Lead Elixir, but only if fought in the Queen's Chamber.
I know this is crazy but if Brador's cell is not part of the nightmare, could that possibly make Brador the Host of the Hunters Nightmare? In a similar way to Micolash and his Mensis Nightmare? Like perhaps the cell is his spot in the real world, the rest of the Nightmare is all inside his head, but also where his consciousness goes as he rings the bell. I always LOVED seeing the blood drunk eye in the sky in the Hunters Nightmare. It made me think that either the whole map was inside the eyeball itself, or we must be in a Hunter's head. I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be the Orphan who's hosting? But that doesn't explain the sky or Brador's cell's wierdness.
2:18 "I listened to The Old Ones."
Well that's the source of your problems right there, Sophie, Sin's been possessed by the moon presence.
lol
Alfred also drinks Lead Elixir.
Brandon's files are still in the game, but his story isn't developed past going on a sandwich run with Phil and Eric
*writes a funny and witty comment with her own blood* 🙃
Well done, you two are very entertaining 👍
I think it's pronounced "hitoman" and not hitman
do you think there's any significance to brador wearing the same basic outfit as the Hunter's foreign garb and asking if they were going to ask him for forgiveness?
I don't think so, but Redgrave has a theory where Brador knows us from before.
What if the church guards and the minister by Brador's cell were actually killed by Ludwig?
:O of course!
wait, Sophie made it to the fishing hamlet at level 20-ish?? thats so so impressive tho
I almost gave up, then realised you could infinitely stunlock Maria using Beast Roar.
I was under the assumption that the hunter with the church pick killed the healing church members in that hallway.
Interesting thing I found out today: Maria was originally an NPC you could talk to and could either be killed by you or Simon. Then you’d inspect her corpse and the usual thing would play out. But she had dialogue: “you will not find your enemies here” so it looks like Brador got something resembling that dialogue instead. She also says “good hunter” a lot if the doll comparison weren’t already clear. I’m sure Sophie has seen this stuff since she’s involved in data mining, but I just thought it was unfortunate that they took it out of the final game.
Yeah, I get the impression they wanted the DLC to flow more smoothly, so they removed the interactions that had you go back and forth. It's interesting in the way it completely changes the character, because the version we have now makes her seem like she killed herself rather than being murdered.
@@SinclairLore The thing about her having killed herself is that they also kept her dead body model for if she had been murdered. It was always bizarre to me that the way she went about it seems to have been cutting her own throat. So at least I have an explanation for that now, albeit a disappointing one. Glad I don’t have to “refresh” the area for another research hall quest line though.
The Policy is why Hitman illicited such a response
loool
Did all the thumbnails on this channel change or am I going crazy?
*GASP* Have I gained too much Insight?!
They did! We wanted them to look consistent, so we re-did everything going back about 2 and a half years.
Okay, so, we know that creatures which die in the waking world can live on in the nightmare to some extent: Mergo, Rom, Micolash, Orphan of Kos. Two questions come to me from this:
(1) Is it "really" them or just a hollow projection, a copy? No more really them than the me who experiences and acts in my dreams is an accurate representation of me? This is mostly a curiosity to me for the human characters: Micolash, Maria, Maria-murderer Ludwig, Brador... If it's really them, why is Maria protecting the Hamlet? Shame? Why is she so unlike the Lady Maria persona she had later in life?
(2) Do we have any clues or speculations about the spirit versions of the child of the Vilebloods, child of Arianna, or child of Imposter Iosefka?
(3) I know i said two, shut up. Is Kos the only great one to manifest in the real world???
(1) It's their spirit / consciousness, kind of like going to the afterlife. Maria is still burdened by guilt over what she did, so that's how she manifests. "Lady Maria" kind of becomes the Doll, which is why the Doll talks about being "liberated from shackles" when you defeat Maria.
(2) They're never expanded on. May just be a crying sound, like Mergo.
(3) Oedon, I guess? Ebrietas is there too, but exactly what she counts as is vague.
@@SinclairLore Thank you! Good call on Oedon.
Aimless speculation that I know isn't new ground: I wonder if part of "ascending" is traveling to the dreamlands physically, as Hunters of the Dream do? Not just spiritually upon death, as is much more common. If so, perhaps Ebreitas is "left behind" because she did not ascend to the dreamlands (nightmare) and stayed or was stuck in the material plane of we mortals? But if that were the case, what would that mean for Kos? I suppose this is one of those questions we'll be able to deduce an answer to...
The Hitman comment is clearly a vague Fromsoft-esque 20 Step Missable NPC Quest that reveals Sin is the Elden Ring!!
Or it's just Reborn 😉
I like Incell Brador better too
Well... Sin isn't entirely wrong... Brador is a bae....
How does Sin sound clearer in the old episode?? lmao
Lol
32:50
Alfred also uses lead elixer if you fight him in Annalise's chamber.
Wait, at 25:13 is that Willy Wonka?
Is Brador a baby working for the mafia?
LOL YES!
