Thank you for the video! Everything is clearly and logically explained and mentioning the dosages was really the key part that I wasn't able to find anywhere else.

@@blindemann Thank you again very much!!I would like to know how i can reach someone aware of methane sibo.I would really appreciate if you gave me more information whenever possible!
Thanks so much for this Video! 🙏🏽😊 I suffer under a Methane Sibo, IMO. Most of our doctors in Germany haven't heard of it or are to expensive for a student. This Video really is a blessing for me
Have you ever treated a patient like me, who seems to react in the opposite way to most conventional treatments? Unfortunately, my SIBO was worsened by the conventional approach of low-fermentation diet, herbals and prokinetics. I've tried both herbal and pharmaceutical drugs. I used to be only hydrogen dominant, but after treatment, I developed methane-dominant SIBO as well. I have more bowel movements regularly than I ever did, but my gas numbers are higher than ever too.
Could you write the names of the products on the screen or below in the video description? I'm having a difficult time googling them and finding the right dosages in Europe so the names would really help. Thank you!
Quick question about the rotating antimicrobials. When you say to rotate, would it be okay to go 4 weeks using Allicin - oregano, and then 4 weeks allicin - berberine, or do we need to switch out both? Sorry for not understanding. Really appreciate the video so much❤️❤️
Bacteria and archaea are shown to ‘adapt’ to certain tested antimicrobials after 4-6 weeks so rotating/changing the product used every 4 weeks ensures they are most effective.
Going very low carb or zero carb for a period of time combined with killing the sibo, replenishing the good bacteria, and using an absorption supplement to carry the waste out is the best way to starve out and heal sibo.
@@SuperSheena1967 something that supports digestion, like a digestive enzyme, is an example of a supplement that would aid in absorption of nutrients from your diet.

There is no easy answer for this sorry, you would need to consult with someone who knows more about your health history and what you are trying to achieve with supplementation.
reuteri sends my histamine levels soaring and lactis gives me immediate diarrhea (methane sibo but also sifo and i presume IMO). berberine also causes severe distention and oregano extreme gas. i'm in a chronic histamine/dysbiosis matrix unfortunately. none of the conventional stuff works. and the chronic constipation (motility first) just does not budge. any alternative ideas? thanks
Try Atrantil.I’m not cured but I’m doing a protocol and that when I couldn’t tell gets my bowels to move not consistently but more often than anything else I’m trying.
Yes! Look into MCAS and consider supporting histamine and mast cell activation, then coming back to addressing SIBO once your body is more stable. Wishing you all the best with this.
Wonderful! So comprehensive thank you. Can I confirm you suggesting PHGG isn’t used till after a strong protocol and significant eradication? Is it not helpful alongside Edu to build up the commensal bacteria? Also can I use Serrapeptase on its own as a biofilm buster? Would you have a guideline of those? I’m trying Nerva app for ibs .. seems a good idea help nervous system
Nerva is excellent! You can bring PHGG in at anytime. Just titrate slowly and see how you go. Serrapeptase is great for inflammation but can also be used to address biofilm.
Can you please let me know if this diet is too restrictive in the long term? I completely cleared my IMO and Candida, but they've both returned despite maintaining this diet: Eat: Chicken, turkey, brown rice, some quinoa, occasional red meat and salmon, vegetables (except potatoes), low sugar fruits, sweet potatoes, almond milk (small amounts), buckwheat, almond & cassava flour, greens, lemon balm tea Don't eat: Legumes, sugar, any sweeteners besides pure monk fruit, alcohol, oats, barely, rye, wheat, corn, white rice, seed oils, dairy, nuts & seeds (used to eat a lot but not lately) Chicken, turkey and brown rice are probably the things I eat the most I've been eating this way for the past few years. I'm underweight and I'm sure this diet is making it harder to eat enough. However, it's the only diet that really helps my neurological and gut symptoms.
Diet is our symptom control tool that we use while completing interventions. Once we have finished an intervention we should be able to work back to a diverse diet. If you can’t then I would consider looking into other root causes for your symptoms, like gut infections, dysbiosis, leaky gut, etc. I hope this helps you with your healing journey ☺️
If I wanted to use allicin and oregano for example, how would I combine them? Since you talked about rotation. So like 1 month allicin next month oregano for example or how exactly would you recommend?
I'm suspicious of these self appointed SIBO experts who are selling their own brand of products. They have an incentive to not actually cure the problem, so they can keep making money. After watching dozens and dozens of videos on the subject and trying everything, I've found that Dr Davis SIBO yogurt has reduced symptoms to be nearly none existent. I'm tired of the runaround from all these self appointed experts whose main point is to sell their own products with no guarantee of success.
I’m so glad to hear that you have found what works for you. I just hope that the content I share here helps someone who was struggling like I was many years ago.
Some clients only experience bloating or reflux for example with no stool changes at all. Anything is possible when the gut is a complex organ with a complex microbiome.
I’m getting so much conflicting information on what is okay to eat and what to avoid, even the Cedars Sinai diet you recommend says onions and garlic are fine, which totally conflicts with most advice. My lactulose breath test showed 77 ppm combined hydrogen and methane. I went on the Biotics protocol with Allicin 6 months ago which helped. After the relapse I began the pharmaceutical antibiotic which doesn’t seem to be helping. If I knew for sure what I can and cannot eat, that would be so helpful. How do I find this out? Thank you.
Sorting out the diet can be tricky. Remember that diet is our symptom control tool that we use short-term. You can use something like the Cedar's diet that is less restrictive and also less likely to reduce severe symptoms, or you can use the SIBO BiPhasic diet or SIBO Specific Food Guide, which are much more restrictive for example. Both will work for the right person. This is where trial and error comes in, or considering working with a practitioner who has worked with many clients in the past and can help guide you (if this is possible for you). I hope this helps and that you can get symptoms under control.
We use probiotics for symptom support, so if a client is constipated for example we would use probiotics to support them during and after antimicrobials.
In 2004 I got bitten by a tick and got Lyme disease so they put me on two high-powered antibiotics for 6 months and I've sulfurous gas and diarrhea ever since. I can't tolerate garlic but berberine is just fine. Just another health problem I have that doctor's won't or can't address!
